well i mean bots don't ruin stealth for you (unless you try to stealth biglobby bank heist with 16 bots + you.) nor do they eat up all of your deployables and they don't have basic fucking voices so they can't assblast your ears with "ANDNOWWEGUYSTHECAPTAINWE'GOTANARMOREDTHECAPTAINWILLPULL"
they can (without mods)
shoot shit
stumble all over the place
mark specials
take routes the player cannot
have more health then the player
carry bags (not every kind of bag though.)
and have an unlimited amount of downs
so yeah they're without mods better then the average pub PD2 player.

I'm real sad that my Gruber Kurz pistol randomly disappeared out of existence, it's been my sidearm for actual years. Worst part is, I think it even had a stat boost on it, so goodbye to that I suppose.
Gee, competing against 2,600 other people for pen codes sure is fun. Especially when there are code bots in the chat!

If you used it during the april fools update, that's why.
Several guns, mainly pistols, were forced an attachment on them that'd give them ricocheting bullets.
When OVK undid the update, they simply deleted the forced attachment out of existence.
Since the attachment no longer existed, any gun that had the ricocheting bullets attachment would end up getting deleted by the inventory cleanup process that happens upon loading the game
the choper at the hill section near the end of HS spawns one dozer instead of 4 on difficulty set _overkill_145

and like every helicopter spawn ever on this heist the unit spawns before the helicopter gets in position. and this chopper just flys through a building. still waiting on overkill to fix the helicopter spawns.
they've also disabled/removed EVERY garage spawn. cops will spawn from anywhere on the heist that's a cop spawnpoint. (instead of disabling the spawns when you go past them and re-enabling some for when you reach the crash site. like what dorentuz told to me the biggest change in his opinion is that nothing really ever spawns ahead of you. it's usually always behind you. which makes the HEAT Street strat really easy.)
the pen is a code only DLC
bot boosts work in stealth, better interaction speeds in stealth then
the pens are going to be super plentiful in under a day; please don't stress about them
bot changes are nice. (and maybe better than some of the brain dead players around nowadays)
the only code only DLC I ever got was the party hat I think
oh yeah, all this talk of codes just reminded me

what's with jules nightmare fuel masks
the community safe 3 skins are mostly pretty great! some real great designs even at lower tiers. that first judge one is super creative. bad legendary for the "bruber kurtz" though
all of these skins remind me that I don't really have any skins for the weapons I frequently use.

so instead of fixing bots literally being just renamed joker cops and setting their hurt severity to presets.gang_member_damage.hurt_severity = deep_clone(presets.hurt_severities.no_hurts) they give them rediculous buffs that makes them better then any human player could ever hope to be.
IMO the only thing out of the "henchmen" update that should've been implamented is the 3 bots and giving them a weapon. everything else seems unnecessary.
and the worst part is they didn't even touch the enemy AI.

to be fair the HS remake was released in a less-than-optimal state. (shit poped in all over before they patched it. a helicopter at inkwell industrial doesn't even spawn anything. enemies spawn in at helicopters before the helicopter gets into position. enemies spawn literally anywhere on the map where there's a spawnpoint for them. removing any difficulty the heist had. matt got stuck if bile had to move downhill.)

I was waiting for someone to comment on the pencil mod. honestly like 80% of OVKs development strategy now seems to be "wait for someone to make a mod with a good idea, and then copy it in an underwhelming and subpar form"
I haven't gotten a chance to experience the Henchman thing yet, but is it looking like it's going to be Overkill's version of what the "Better bots" mod does, or would you say Better Bots still makes bots more effective? At least in terms of combat efficiency.
