What fuck this means?
So Jiro has waited two years to find his son
and the search for Kento ends with him not found ... i guess Jiro can wait some more?
What fuck this means?
Jump from car to car while getting Kazo to the scaffold, I assume.
Jump from car to car while getting Kazo to the scaffold, I assume.
Oh, if is that then... welp, fuck this achievement then :v:
After 10 days
I still don't care if jiro ever finds his son :(
At least they didn't make the prisoner his son, so I'm glad for that. Something tells me now they'll make the conclusion of his story a standalone DLC, which I remember saying in the past I'm fine with. Better than to just forget the story.
Don't think much of the pirate masks. Was expecting a Jiro-themed mask pack and/or safe, to be honest.
lol, the stupid thing my friends and I did all the time with the cars (Or actually try to, since I don't know if it's actually possible in PD:TH) is now an achievement. At least there's no BS speedrun achievement this time, fuck them.
Damn, was looking through an old Payday: The Heist video of mine, and I realized I really like the police chatter of the first game a lot more than in the second. It sounds more.. Tactical? Professional? Not exactly sure, but it just sounds better.
The second game's chatter just sounds really casual at times. I also like the way it sounds like it's coming from a radio in the first game. Not sure if any of them can really be considered realistic, if cops in real life encountered the Payday gang though, I wouldn't hold it against them for one saying "This is a colossal goat fuck!".
why is hector telling me my crew is exceptionally gifted and that the mendozas are no more at the completion of green bridge
am I having flashbacks to rats
logically speaking, since theyre planning on remaking/porting all PDTH heists into PD2
just what is the benefit of buying PDTH nowadays?
all of its weapons are already in PD2, and all of it heists will soon be too, even its soundtrack has been added to PD2
at this point the only thing the first game has that the second doesnt is just the masks, oh and a harder yet simpler gameplay, but PD2 has more customizations and additons to it so everyone will buy that.
3 days of patching.

old chains
half of the cop chatter in 2 is just this
"fucking hell"
"we're taking a beating"
"someonetellmewhothefuckwe'refighting"
they don't even sound remotely professional or tatical. like they just send untrained units with overpowered guns towards 4 demigod heisters.
no lines for incomming specials like in TH (such as "Make way for the shield." "Cloakers! Hit them in the back!")
also there's scripted skulldozer spawns on MH/DW/OD at the escape part.

this and the game's much harder. (i personally mod the game to feel more like PDTH when i play on "overkill" (you have a lives_init of 3. so after down 2 you should probably patch up. you also have a 0.15s damage delay. specials have a 1.5x HS multi. HP multi is 2x with a 1.5x HS multi applied on-top of all HS multis. cop spawnlimit is set to 40 max on all difficulties.)

It's like L4D vs L4d2. The sequel has more content, but there's something about the original worth checking out. Like, in L4D2 it just feels more atmospheric plus there aren't as many special zeds to make your life hell. It's the same with PDTH I think.

they're sending 100+ cops per payday heist do you really think they have the time to train them?
Anyone getting an unusual amount of desync? It's actually literally unplayable, we've failed GB on the last part three times now because Swan Song is completely butchered and we can't revive each other.

I really like green bridge now. It's fun, not brutal like the original, it looks and plays great. I hope no mercy gets the same (if not better) treatment than this

PD:TH is such an incredibly different feeling game than PD2. I can maybe see an argument for PD2 being a sequel to PD:TH at launch in most senses of the word, but it's so different nowadays. you play PD:TH for novelty and experiencing the ground work for PD2. either that or apparently you're one of fifteen remaining fanatics. besides that, there's almost no reason to still be comparing the two mechanics present, as if PD2 has to follow tiny PD:TH differences to be authentic
PD:TH: a gruelling, difficult game that requires high understanding of foggy game mechanics in order to do well at even a baseline difficulty
PD2: an arcade-y shooter that fluctuates in being approachable, but remains captivating and step-ladders you enough between difficulties (debatable) and higher mechanics
I love that Hector thanks me from his grave for dealing with the Mendozas when completing Green Bridge.
10 out of 10 QA
We just won the heist on OD by having me (client) run past the cops on the last stretch (nobody was shooting at me due to desync) and then camp at the escape while the others killed themselves. When I got to the escape the others were saying I was still at the building
What a fucking mess
Something about how the stealth in heists works in the first game feels better, even if that game is super jank.
