Alright, tried playing something other than Safehouse Raid, and oh my, interaction boost makes the whole game feel miles better. Actually I kinda like the difficulty in the beta now, even with the current spawn rates - you have to focus on shooting the cops so they don't overwhelm you, but the objectives are super easy to do.
I'm torn between having 3 human teammates, or disabling 'Drop In' after one or two so we can still reap the benefits of Bot Boosts.
The Inspire boost feels useless, since it's an active boost, not a passive one. The other 2 benefit you all the time, while the Inspire helps every once in a while.

That one is awesome, actually. When you get downed, bots are usually in trouble as well. They take way too much to help you and in the heat of assault wave often fail to do so before getting downed themselves. Because of that Feign Death was one of my #1 skills. Now that bots are able to inspire me, I've got 13 extra skill points.

How often does that happen on OK anyway?
I think I've been downed 3 times total since the bot update, 2 of them cloakers.

I had a pretty heated moment on the escape point of Heat Street. SWAT Turret spawned here and bots were constantly getting downed to it. Once all of them but one fell, and I've been downed by a sniper, and inspired seconds before the last bot got downed.
But yeah, even though it's difficult to get killed with the amount of health and armor you get, there are at times moments when there is literally nowhere to run and you are getting shot non-stop.

There are only three active boosts and three bots. The hell else am I gonna put in there?

Personally I put Inspiring in first slot and Quick in second slot. Though, now that I think about it I should probably swap those. By the time you have three players in a lobby the skill increase by having an actual player should more than make up for lack of Inspiring, and one player will probably have Inspire anyway. Faster interaction speed is always handy, though.
I can't tell if bots actually hinder me or not. I was running Hotline Miami and getting decimated on Mayhem when I should not normally. The spawns are insane with the bots, to the degree that they don't seem to be with humans.
[editline]14th April 2017[/editline]
it reminds me loads oftrying to play TH with bots and being overwhelmed

Often since they fucked the spawns

Body Expertise solves all problems.
That and armor plus muscle perk deck.
they nerfed body expertise recently and biker perk deck is probably better for this
[editline]14th April 2017[/editline]
doesn't muscle still have the thing where it causes them to target you more? sounds like a real bad idea to use that
I kinda wished that they added a free explosive weapon over the AP pistol. While the AP pistol is a nice idea, it kind of sucks. The ammo in the gun is really low to begin with, the ammo pick up is horrendous and for a pistol it doesn't really do alot of damage to warrent using it over other pistols. Expecially when other pistols carry more ammo, have better pick up and do more damage. I already own most of the dlcs to begin with so it's not a problem for me, but I do believe non-dlc owners should have an alternative weapon to use. Also who doesn't like EXPLOSIONS.http://i.imgur.com/mZX11rh.gifv
they did, the incendiary grenades
[editline]14th April 2017[/editline]
its the HE Explosive and Molotov in one, instead of leaving a pile of fire it explodes and ignites the people around. You also get 6 of them.
Woo, finally got navy armor from Crime Spree, now I have something that blends in with Houston's suit.
On the subject of Houston, does anybody else think Houston could really use a unique mask he can call his own?
I personally find it weird that even after we have Hoxton back in the crew and takes back his name, Houston still kind of lives in his shadow. Using his old mask probably isn't helping. I'm just having trouble imagining what his own unique mask would actually look like if Overkill decided to give him one, but he really does deserve one at this point.
I've had Houston wearing Funnyman for a long time and having Hoxton wear his original

one time i was playing hoxout day 1 and stayed at the beginning where you "C4"'d the wall and the female cop's ragdoll just slowly floated up and through the ceiling :what:
i didn't take a full recording of it but i was like "wtf diesel i though you had good physics"
guess who can play as the cop as scary black man now

Personally I just gave Houston the Perfect Stranger. I feel like it's fitting enough given he's supposed to be the designated stealth guy.

I hope you're not trying to load constantly to get the strings.
You can say, edit a menu that uses strings (like the Perk Decks, for example), and replace it with the loading screen strings, which have the format of "loading_(category)_(category_index)". You can get "category" and "category index" from here.
A messy method, but I haven't seen anything else that lets you preview strings easily.

Payday 2 should have more bakuretsu, I agree.
I made a trailer cut of "This is Our Time - Miles Malone" about a year back. It's not perfect, and I'm not satisfied with it, but I still prefer it to the version they released. The only difference is the intro.

If you want to know where it changes cuts, it's at [sp]1:03[/sp]. I asked my band friends if they noticed, they told me they didn't but the transition is still obnoxious to me.
green bridge on vanilla unmodded one down is completely fun right guys

no matter what the idea of a difficulty where "enemies deal 7.5x damage and have 9x health" is not fun at all. and if you remove all dmg multipliers in charactertweakdata they all do 75 damage because reasons.

"Dallas spends a fortune on nice suits."

Scarface spends a fortune on furniture

One Down actually just has the same weapon handling modifier as Deathwish, so accuracy/damage multipliers are the same.
However, what makes enemies do so much stupid damage on One Down compared to Deathwish is actually these lines in weapontweakdata right under _set_sm_wish.
self.ak47_ass_npc.DAMAGE = 3
self.m4_npc.DAMAGE = 3
self.g36_npc.DAMAGE = 5
self.r870_npc.DAMAGE = 7
So really it's the weapons themselves that get better, not so much the user's ability to shoot.
[sp]Be thankful that no units spawn with G36s normally on OD, they'd do a good 375 damage.[/sp]
I think I'd find it cool if some of the loading screens focused on a little background information on the heist you're doing, and the location you're in. Similar to contract dialogue, but a little more concise, and informative in different areas rather than just telling you "Go here, steal/do this"
Like for example, a loading screen on the Diamond explaining the history behind the titular object you're stealing. Something that builds a little more atmosphere to what you're doing.

OK should add the JP36 units in and give them armor gate bypass.
I wonder where the textures for the Raincoat are located
Or even what the green bridge files are under
I see nothing related to Bridges or Kento here
