melee is useful when you spec into melee
completely
except for the knockdown part
[editline]21st April 2017[/editline]
it actually makes melee fun
i see people use the buzzer/E. knuckles to dominate cops
don't use them to dom cops. you have to wait 2-3 seconds for the cop to actually surrender and weapon butt is generally faster for it's quick 30 damage. (and it has next to no knockdown so dominating cops with weapon butt is really easy)
kunai is really only useful for stoping cloakers and tasers (it also can kill a dozer faster then any other melee can without melee skills.)
On One Down the stun is important because it stops the cop from shooting at you while allowing you to dominate them, and that's really important if you don't want to take hundreds of damage in one second point-blank.
Found a Steam forum thread about one of the devs asking for feedback about new difficulties.
Hilarious that after 56 pages, One Down remains unchanged after half a fucking year.
Because fuck armor users. Rogue and crits all the way! Chance based success hooraa! /s
OD was designed to be as unfair as possible.
Even though I don't agree with this. And Joakim seems to agree, as he wanted 1D to be a modificator, not a full blown difficulty.
I would play 1D a lot more if it was a DW with one down allowed.

It still favors dodge users a lot.

How so if dodge is so nerfed now? Is more like in favor of armor users than dodge users

Dodge is a chance to evade damage.
1D cops deal loads of damage. Only Anarchist ICTV Berserker builds can withstand it, but that severily limits your speed

Idk, on OVK and DW i get hit and take damage very easily with dodge, like of 10 shots fired 8 hit me*
I messed up the numbers
Still better than a 100% chance of taking 250+ damage on OD

You're saying like armor hasn't been nerfed.
You guys only have 10 less dodge.

Idk which nerf on the armor are you talking about, but to be honest since the nerf on dodge i play mostly with armor now and i used to play a lot with dodge.
Is not that is 10 less dodge, is the fact that you are more likely to get shot anyway, like i said, if from 10 shots i get hit by 8 then is better i use armor rather than use dodge and be a shooting target. And i'm not talking about close range shots, i talking about the medium-long range ones, which dodge was supposed to work with it

First it was Bulletproof, from 50% to 40% extra armor.
Then it was another one, from 40% to 30%.
This is the nerf that let's Heavies on OD 1shot your armor, since it puts ICTV at 221. Otherwise it would live.
Also, why does the game crash after half a minute when I bring the GSPS along?

Any mods? Otherwise is unknown, post the crash report

Any mod that affects shotguns or the GSPS? even just a retexture...
Dodge is favored in OD mostly because your movement speed is much higher so you can actually move from place to place in a short notice (especially in big heists where you have to move a lot like in goat sim), I think survivability with armor and dodge is about the same but you get all these bonuses with dodge like crits and especially higher movement speed so there is no reason to use armor over dodge.
so was it ever revelead who was the green eyed shadowy figure that shot dallas in the diamond trailer? im still curious and nothing about it was mentioned as far as i know

Armorer works fine too. It's probably the most popular perk deck for loud (Especially since it's a free deck) next to anarchist.
Also you can use anarchist with a suit too if you want. It's basically a constant 1 second armor regen, especially if you use dot weapons.
I've noticed on Spree that at some point Kingpin can't even negate Bulldozer damage anymore
Seems a bit odd to me considering that it should be invulnerable at a certain point

Dot weapons? first time hearing that term, elaborate for me?

Damage over time, like poison crossbow and fire.
The flamethrower and a mid or high damage smg was my go to build for anything hard for a while simply because of shitloads of regen just by tapping an enemy.

Has this been posted here already?
Did Rats OK from level 0, everything that could go wrong, went wrong.
7 bags cooked, escape happened, got 1 meth bag out. Intel got fried on day 2, got 1 bag of cash on day 3.
Blegh.

What, that's odd
I've been wondering whether I should continue my 252 spree, or claim the rewards now. I feel like storing it just in case Overkill adds new armor colors, so I can get some the same day. And if not that, in case that infamy thing comes anytime soon.

Doesn't reduce the damage you take. Heals 75%. Key word being "Heals"
If the hit deals substantially more damage than you have health, then it'll still bring you down. Outpaces the healing factor, like.

While playing with a hud that has health animate i actually noticed that
It'd first show damage, then the healing
So that means the Bulldozer damage takes all my health, allowing nothing to be restored
Kinda reduces it's uses huh
I always thought something looked off with the Yacht Heist, so I tweaked it a bit.
