People always ask for ways to remove the chromatic abberation in Payday 2, Lolnoob1 however went in a different direction

that looks perfect i can't wait for a release :vs:
also HS on OD is designed for dodge builds. if you try it with all 4 people using armor builds you will not get that far. kinda makes me wish partner/partners in crime wasn't so broken (99% damage resistance on converts? who's idea was this?)

What are you actually doing there? Yacht heist seems to cause a shader problem on subsequent heists played on the same server, so if you're referring to something in the heist's settings, you might actually be onto something that would help solve that bug.

Bloom. They recently added back the shader (U98) and only started using it as early as yacht.
Older heists don't have bloom defined in their .environment file, so it never gets turned off as the value is not set. OVK can fix this by updating all their old environments with just a 0 bloom value, or even go back and give all heists this feature.

To elaborate on what Martini said, Green Bridge, Heat Street, and the Yacht Heist are the only heists I know of that have bloom enabled.
Playing any of these heists will actually cause the bug, but this is most noticable with Yacht because it has a bloom intensity value of 1.50 (which is insane on brighter heists).
Groovy, thanks. I'll update the bug report.
Here, let's play a game of...

A mod I've always wanted to see, that would give the gang a more personal feeling.
Currently Bain communicates over the radio when someone needs help.
Unless Overkill has forgot to do so for newer characters, AI teammates have generic calls for help every few seconds. Dallas and Hoxton shout "Somebody! Help meee!" and "Heeeelp!" respectively.
If I knew where to find the files, I would replace all of Bain's "___ is down!" lines with radio filtered versions of the AI shouts.
Think survivors calling for help in Left 4 Dead.

Wow, even if there aren't lines for the characters in Payday 2, this would be pretty cool for Payday: The Heist.

Update: Found the strings, just gotta track down the actual files and get to work.
Also found out any heist where the crew say "Hello" to an NPC, Jiro says "Yoh." and "Hallo?"
I got a hold of Dallas' medic bag lines and:

sounds like angels singing a choir to my ears
brb posting in team slack
Anyone know how to properly track down all of the "____ is down!" lines?
Because looking at the .stream files, Bain's various lines for Jiro going down is either in the Jiro subfolder with 1,000+ unnamed, encrypted files. Or it's in the regular_vox subfolder with 19,000+ unsorted, unnamed encrypted files.
All I have are the strings that call for the files to play.

Funny how armor is yet again getting the short end of the stick in Crime Spree.
As the number of +dmg and +hp modifiers piles up, armor gets closer and closer to the verge of getting one shotted by anything and becomes a suit.. Literally, in the 150's, my Anarchist + Frenzy 400 armor ICTV gets nearly half of it blown off by a basic shotgunner unit. A sniper takes 3/4 of it.
What makes it bareable is the fact that the headshot multipliers stay the same, and the number of downs you got. So later on, I assume it becomes OD lite. Which is cool actually.
The amount of times that a Sniper just ends up one shotting me through my ICTV is frustrating sometimes
Yesterday I was playing Dodge on Crime Spree 200+, and the snipers didn't miss me once. Played through Big Bank loud and Hotline Miami Day 1, it was hell going outside.

What's even more fun is having a sniper quickscope you the second they get into position, or if you're real unlucky they'll do it before then.
Nothing like being the last guy alive on your team, about to trade a hostage in a bad place, and then getting shot and downed by a sniper who was still walking to their position.
I've had our craneman on Big Bank just fail to get back down so many times due to Snipers
Luckily he's got Stockholm Syndrome

you can replace fully loaded with inspire and it can still do alot of DPS
do you really want to know what's a kick in the balls?
completing a heist on 193+
and then having the game crash on the heist results screen.
this undoes the "complete X heist on OVERKILL 193+" challenge.
i even took a screenshot right before it crashed and that didn't even save
Seems like there's really no incentive for Crime Spree at late levels, it seems the most profitable/efficient way is to play it till around 50ish tickets (when "enemies get +% is your only choices) then restart.
I know for certain that paying to start at like ~210+ is basically a guaranteed loss, there's no reward scaling it seems. The only reason to venture past 100 is for the achievement.
[editline]27th April 2017[/editline]
Speaking of which, does anyone know if its possible to be at like ~200 and join another spree for tickets? Like if they're at 10 tickets and I'm at 215 does my ticket counter go up? I know there's a scale bonus for if you're host and the others are way behind, but what about other way around?

You gain equal amounts of tickets, but no rewards.
Basically, don't do it.
