Updating my GPU drivers makes the game crash on launch now, nice. :dead: Turns out it was just AMD fucking everything up with it's updates as usual, the newest one (17.0) somehow fucked up every single DirectX 9 application, so a roll back to 16.5 worked fine.

There should be a little fix that stops players leaving the ground when they sprint downhill.
I really wish you could pick which way you escape on the Scarface Heist. Pretty much when you get that back van exit when you spawn, it's a death sentence.
Just 3 dlc remaining: Goat heist, Biker heist and Gage Pack 2. I'm not that interested on any of those, so I guess I'll skip them.

The first mission takes forever, the second has a bridge section that is outright suffering. Biker Heist is alright, but kind of underwhelming and forgettable.

I've seen more teams wipe at the driving section of Biker Day 1 than any other section of a heist.
And if the team isn't wiped at the end, the guy driving the bike gets it stuck because driving carefully is just too damn hard

Once you get used to pressing the opposite key to the way you want to turn, it's actually fairly easy.

I once played Biker Heist DW. Host legged it to Rust's bike and fucked off, as did the other two dudes. I hid in that tiny hut to the right of the bikes to heal up. Stayed in there for 10 seconds thinking, in the meantime there's no more gunfire outside. Sprinted out to the bike just a meter or two away. The moment I got on the bike I got targeted and shot at by so many fucking cops my frames went from 90 to 1. I have never experienced such a thing. By the time my game caught up I was already in bleedout with 10 left, got inspired by dude #3. I knew he was a dodge sprinter but how did he get all the way back to me so fast? They were walking red fog generators as they casually strolled through a swarm of angry cop bees.[/QUOTE] IIRC Normal: 2,000 HP Hard / Very Hard: 3,000 HP Overkill / Mayhem: 6,000 HP Death Wish / One Down: 8,000 HP If they don't take damage for a few seconds, their health snaps back to 100%. If you use Better Bots, setting bots to 'Dodge', they will heal fully whenever they successfully perform a 'dodge' animation, should it be a dive, roll or cloaker cartwheel, depending on what setting you chose. They can only heal via this on One Down however. Better Bots will also allow you to set their health to 'No Scaling (750)', around the same as Human players total hit points, or 'Zeal (1440)', same as Zeal's heavy tan units. These values stay the same regardless of difficulty if chosen. I personally set them to 1440 on all difficulties, around twice as durable as human players to offset the whole health regen and sniper like aim thing.
Does Better Bots make it so they don't fucking fumble the bags and drop them on a whim sometimes? :v:

The biker heist just feels too plain. It's like Hoxton Breakout day 2, but without an interesting design to keep you from realizing how monotonous it is gathering parts for some dude to assemble in the open. And the cops swarms are allowed to just vomit right on top of you seemingly in every position the game places the mechanic. Oh yeah, and the collision on the bike is still fucked up. You can get yourself stuck at an awkward angle if you so much as graze the sides of the tunnel. They should really make the damn tunnel wider. The second day is neat, but it's over as quickly as it begins. Then your payoff is a sponge enemy guarding a cache of heavy items you can haul all the way back at a snails pace.
I think the reason that the hitbox of the bike is so fucked, and I might be wrong on this, is because it still has the hitbox of a car.

It puts a bag symbol next to the bot's name like it does for players, since there is no contour.
God this talk of the Biker Heist made me go back and do that stupid achievemtn of not letting matt (Oops, mike instead) get interrupted while we still have the super broken Reinfelds. I have legitimately never felt a feeling of euphoria until I beat that achievement for how BS it is. If only it unlocked a tied up Matt (Mike) in the safe house for us to beat the hell out of
