Funfact: An event is held every year where Swedish game devs get together for a game of the Swedish sport "Brännboll". This year it was DICE vs Starbreeze. Starbreeze won, 81 to 33.

I don't know if anyone's played Prey but vlad voiced a pretty annoying minor villain in it and it's so distracting every time he talks
You're too rough for tom!
eat pizza cool
Who decided to model Rust's mouth and cheek to look like he had a stroke
I mean that's just Ron Perlman's face
Ye, Ron has a bulldog face. Which is good for Hellboy
God, CrimeNet has to be one of the most broken and least functional server/lobby selection system I've ever used. Constant freezing while in it about every 5 seconds that lasts for about 10 is my main issue with it, but I've also gotten real friendly with this message: [t]https://puu.sh/w9Ky4/b57125fb47.jpg[/t] Not sure if it's stale lobbies or the slot I was trying to take getting filled up because of the said 10 second freezes. And then this keeps happening, even if it's not really CrimeNet's fault. "Oh boy, after about 10 minutes of trying to join a game, I finally got into one!" "Ah, it's finished loading now! Let me check my team's equipment so I know what to br-" [t]https://puu.sh/w9KxW/19f9112b9e.jpg[/t] And yeah I know "host your own lobbies" but no one ever seems to join the ones I host other then no infamy <60 players, and I host mostly DW stuff.
I have been barely kicked in lobbies so far. The only time I did is when NGBTM kicked in and I didn't have 500 hours or an invalid peck deck.
Sadly Overkill can't really do much against the people kicking like this It's more of a community problem than it is a game problem
I wouldn't even be so mad about being kicked so damn often if it didn't take a solid 10 minutes to actually get into a match in between all the freezing and failing to join.
Speaking of recent swedish events, a few days ago was the GGC (Gotland game conference) where we got to show off our games that we've been working on over the last few months. I was lucky enough to talk to Olof, one of the programmers at Overkill. The guy was really cool, I remember he was also partaking an event earlier in the year where people talked about their experiences and such.
The armor bag could become a little bit viable again thanks to crime spree. In regular stealth, you probably want to bring a dedicated stealth build because you can restart an infinite amount of times, but you can't do that in crime spree. If you set off the alarm with a stealth build in crime spree, it's just tough titty. This means that you should bring a loud build unless you're REALLY confident in your stealthing skills, or it's a stealth-only heist. If you prefer ICTV, bringing an armor bag still means you can attempt stealth and be ready if shit hits the fan. I've honestly found my deployables to be not that useful to me in solo crime spree, since you just get minimum loot and leave.

Also, loadouts. You can use those to change skills. Have a stealth loadout and 1 or more loud loadouts.

I try to leave a "whoops, sorry, meant for it to be private" message before kicking people.
Anyone else going for the one down mask? These heists are brutal and tough even with bot help (birth of sky, goat, forest, lab rats, etc)
Anyone else going for the one down mask? These heists are brutal and tough even with bot help (birth of sky, goat, forest, lab rats, etc)
Don't use bots, get a team. Full joker skills, aced nine lives, swan song, and silencer-buffed DMRs will help a lot. Jokers are essential to divide and mess with enemy AI attention.
Don't use bots
Two bots were what my friend and I used to first try all of the non stealth mission. Piercing and Healer on one for amazing survivibility and ass saving, Quick and Stockpiler on the other because he felt like it. I could not convince him to use Inspiring on the second bot. Oh well, didn't really need it. Fucking Goat Simulator man. We saved that one for last and used four full doctor bags and two hostage trades in the first mission. I was afraid to say the least.
The thing is that bots now count as players regarding spawn rates so unless you feel you can take on spawn rates you'd get with a full team of 4 (or 3 if solo), you're really only making the heists harder by having them there.
A single player that plays with 3 AI crew-member will now count as being only 3 players instead of 4. Since an AI will never be as good a a regular player and being all by yourself AI will not be able to take the coordinated and tactical decisions as needed. This will mean that with player alone with 3 AI you will see as many enemies as if you play 3 human players without AI. A two or a three man team with two or one AI will still count as four players for the amount of enemies.
They manage to make Goat Sim OD look like a joke.

I know this isn't really the topic at hand, but what a strange video to make there's nothing formidable about funneling enemies into a chokepoint and then letting bots massacre them while you're in the corner playing solitaire

This isn't a super 1337 pro video, this is a video specifically for calling out how ridiculously OP the new bots are.
I think I'd rather prefer the bots being 'overpowered' than back to 'completely, and utterly fucking useless'. They've been useless for over 4 years, between 2 games. It's about time they can actually do something.
Reinfeld
You make it seem like the 870 is staying that way.
Can I just say out of the blue that the box buddy sight is complete garbage? It doesn't slow down your mouse sensitivity like the default scope and it makes it so hard to aim with.
