If Undertale were made by Disney or Don Bluth.

Recently, episodes 2 through 4 of If Undertale Was Realistic have vanished.
I'm guessing the law caught up to them, in the end.

To think their content is awesome to look at… but then they don't even bother properly crediting the makers of ex. casual Undyne, or whoever made the Frisk model (which is surpisingly the best of them).

The content isn't even "awesome" by any stretch of the imagination. It was badly animated (at least parts 1-4, 5 was passable), badly lit, abused 60fps, badly written, lowest-common denominator garbage with stolen content to boot. And it wasn't just the lack of credits, it was that there were paid workers on these projects, but the artists who made it possible from the ground up got jack shit.
One of the artists filed a DMCA takedown request, and they're all in their rights to do so. It's insanely gratifying to see justice be served here.

We went from Frisk (and possibly Chara) being a gender-confused giraffe, to stolen content where sources weren't given tribute.… I wish Dexter Manning picked up on it.

Update on the SmashBits stuff:
They've now filed a counterclaim, citing the Steam group "Open Source Filmmaker" (OSFM).
Which has absolutely NOTHING to do with Valve or the Steam Workshop License Agreement. Which, by the way, states that the asset owner has the full right to dispute copyright theft if they feel they've been wronged. What SmashBits are probably thinking about is the Royalty Free license to use and monetize Source Filmmaker as a Software - which has zero relevance to the agreement they actually violated, and the people they actually stole models from.

I'm so, fucking, unbelievably pissed about this whole situation, and how they're just gonna get away with this.

See this is where the Steam workshop crew has to weigh in on the situation.
So, here's their recent comment:
Agreed:

SFM animators who have been monetizing content the last 10 years all fit under these agreements.
I pray they do not get away with it, and if they somehow do try to do so the Chara of YouTube will erase them.

I tried replying to them with great detail why each of those links are either irrelevant or actually incriminate them further, but to nobody's surprise they're actually deleting the comments calling them out.

Have you watched the sixth episode of this Realistic series thing? Still gets to me how the video series reflects upon the videogame's oddities and quirks, and problems…
[SP]I have a funny feeling there will be a sort-of fish tank in the True Lab with a naked goat floating inside, in stasis... You don't even have to guess what happens next.[/SP]
To be honest i'm pretty sick of sans in the undertale fanbase, he probably has the most fan content and nearly all of is ether sad or edgy
I like Sans because he reminds me of myself.
He's character speaks a lot to me. I always liked giving people second chances even after treating me poorly and I always liked living in the past and trying to deny the reality. And also I'm pretty sure most of you here have at some point felt like you couldn't control your own life. Felt like the choices you made never mattered so you just stopped trying.
[sp]He's not only one of the most creative final bosses in the game but also ironically the most human character. That's why there's so many people out there that like him[/sp]

Unfortunately if one can't analyze a character past their cool flashy combat abilities and a few memorable one-liners, sans is basically anime-main-character bait for the kind of people who make sonic and kingdom hearts OCs.
Hence why there are so many 'omg so sad' and otherwise edgy fan shit about him, with very little exploring the actual character.

Aw yeah. I already have the dogsong vinyl from my other preorder, if I happen to win one I'm willing to raffle it off fo free maybe if anyone really wants it. I guess we'll see what happens.
Now what? Those SmashBits jerks marked If Undertale was Realistic as private.
Just gimme a True Lab with-... nah, I don't need to specify it.
nobody in here likes If Undertale Was Realistic because it looks like shit *and* uses uncredited assets

Then I guess the video regarding the copyright strike means shit. Well, they were asking for trouble by not giving proper credit.
Dexter Manning is off the hook though, he only does the sound... Glad to know the voice of Flowey (in the ArcadeCloud video), Frisk, Papyrus, and the "actress" in episode 5 is off the hook. I wouldn't say its animation is awful, but not very notable, I do appreciate the sounds.
The movement needs to look more natural though, I admit that.
