Sorry to bump this, but, uh, did anyone else just get an update for Undertale on Steam?

'cause I just got 103.9 megabytes of something for the game. I don't know whether this is the PS4 content or something else, but I know one thing for sure. I'm going to check it out after my afternoon routine, and not expect anything other than what we've already been shown!

You're not crazy, SteamDB shows a new private build was added two hours ago, and then removed 30 minutes ago.

Apparently it added Japanese localisation and people found [sp]Dog Shrine[/sp] music from the PS4 version added to the game. Tried accessing it but maybe not possible from a post-game pacifist standpoint because I got nothing.

Another big 99 meg patch just dropped. I'm guessing that new room is fixed now.

Speaking of localizations, whatever happened to the Korean version of the game? The demo was translated but I can't find a single bit of info regarding it after that.

That demo had some extra cut content still in the data so the finished game would've been interesting look through.

Speaking of data, the community's latched on to a particularly... suggestive little breadcrumb. Two words in the code: [sp]HE IS[/sp] , associated with [sp]demonx[/sp] . For reference, lines by [sp]demon[/sp] are apparently attributed to [sp]Chara[/sp] , and earlier [sp]demon[/sp] lines seem to imply that our little [sp]fallen child[/sp] may be the "humble servant" of something else.

In conclusion, there's a slim chance that this may be the start of a [sp]Gaster[/sp] ARG, but the Foundation is still looking into [B][REDACTED][/B]

I'm not expecting much, I'll be honest. I still love the game, and I've still been working on DoctorTale (it's gotten weirder and darker, and we're just about to enter the True Lab), but my hopes of anything worthwhile cropping up at this juncture have taken a nosedive.

Don't get me wrong, I'll probably play "Shrouded in Darkness" when it comes out, but as far as fixing the game's most crippling end-game bug goes, that ship has long since sailed.

But apparently Toby's been working on the Undertale alarm clock as an phone app. Which surprisingly isn't just an alarm clock, but also has dialogue in it, which I guess is cool. A bit more character fleshing-out.

I didn't expect anything, so this is kinda cool.

hello threadizens I just finally played through Undertale and beat it. Did the normal pacifist run then realised what people meant by I have to 'kill' at least once to then do the 'True Pacifist' ending and golly gee that was emotional
