Just use spoiler tags and specify that your post is only to be read by people who completed it. My thoughts having completed it: It was incredibly good, both the dark world and the town. Hell of a cliffhanger. I was kind of tense the entire time, your entire quest was so straightforward and neat without any real twist, so I'm waiting for the complication. I haven't played the genocide equivalent either so I have no idea how wildly the story diverges if you just murder your way through. It was also way longer than I expected it to be, I kept waiting for it to cut off rather than be a full slice of the game.

ok cool here's my thoughts on this game so far after finishing it once: HELLO ENDING WHAT THE FUCK WHY WHO HOW WHAT deltarune = anagram of undertale, i remember this being a thing back when people were datamining undertale before therefore this is proberbly a parallel universe story or something idk but sans doesnt know who you are even if you talk to him and say you already know him only did the pacifist route and idk if i want to murder everything but would like to see a genocide ending

oh my god i just finished it what the FUCK was that ending TOBY?????? you can't just END with THAT also i read that apparently the game can detect save files from Undertale - has anyone tried this? i have a true pacifist save though its on my other computer

Ralsei is an anagram of Asriel. Made me suspicious from the get-go, so that reveal near the end wasn't all that surprising. It was a bit confusing though, since he seems to be alive and well in the "real" world.

So, did anyone try to free the guy in the ???? area of the castle? Or is that just something that can't be done in this chapter? In any case, I enjoyed it and I am really looking forwards to more Surveys!

that was the greatest survey there ever was. point also THAT FUCKING CLIFFHANGER ENDING WHAT IN THE FUCK and Ralsei = Asriel but in the real world asriel is fine and dandy?, also there were multiple references to Kris " not being himself ", and various of your interactions with people are about asking your memories and things you had done, as if you dident knew anything about this world, i feel we were using Kris as an vessel for our interaction with the game?

I just finished it. What the FUCK. So with deltarune being an anagram for undertale, I have to wonder if this is a shuffled version of the previous game- undyne doesn't know alphys, sans and his bro just moved in (similar to how sans and papyrus were recent monsters in UT), among all the other things. I'd like to think that Kris is the real name of the fallen child- Chara was just a joke because the UT trailer's name was Chara(meaning character), and I could see this as Toby's way of canonizing the name he had in mind. They even wear the same color shirt. I only just beat the pacifist route so I can't wait to see what bastard shit the genocide route has.

the fact that frisk and kris are so close to being anagrams of each other, combined with the same shirt+red eyes and knife that chara had make me think this is some kind of prologue to undertale. we know that sans is a timecop or whatever from undertale, and at the end when you talk to him if you say you are friends with him he says 'thats strange since we've never met before' and then winks. anyway, way longer than i expected and holy hell am i hyped for the 'full' game, whatever it ends up being.

What the fuck did I just play. I mean I didn't expect Ralsei to be a goat (more likely a monster). I mean... At the beginning I thought his name seemed kind of similar to Asriel's but, it seems odd. And, what is this new darkness vs light thing? My mind is blowing up to be honest, there's so much to theorize about, just wait for everyone to connect the pieces.

I have so many questions about Undertale: Steel Ball Run I need more.

Wait, sorry for posting here again after a few minutes, but, I actually have a theory: What if, this is a post genocide from Undertale? I mean, Kris is very similar to Frisk, almost like an anagram. And on the end of Undertale's genocide, Chara erases the world and then says 'Let us erase this pointless world, and move on to the next'. Plus, Frisk's soul belongs to Chara after genocide, which would explain how they took their own soul out and put it in a cage, and how it seemed like Chara at the end, with the red eyes, the knife and also possessing Kris. Idk, it's just a small theory I had with my girlfriend

He said that to me too and I don't think I ever got far on the PC version. Whatever weird timeline strangeness is happening, I don't know for certain if Sans knows, but I'm sure we'll find out. Something that just hit me- Papyrus won't be wearing his knight costume in this. That's gonna be weird.

Thoughts on the survey, do not hover if you don't want to be spoiled. This... can't be a sequel. Asriel is alive and somehow going to university, Undyne has no idea who Alphys is. Yet it's obviously... set after Undertale's time period because of the graveyard where Gerson is buried. And the ending? Jesus what? ...I need these 24 hours to be up so Toby can talk about what the heck's going on.

Something tells me we're gonna open with some people dead next chapter. Chara is gonna be busy and no one will be of the wiser.

This will sound ridicolous, but ... how the fuck am I supposed to open the survey on Windows 10, exactly?
