Any sort of source on this?
Is it just me or does the piano in AUDIO_ANOTHERHIM.ogg (character creation theme) sounds like Gaster's theme?
Anyone else was expecting the flowey evil distorted laugh at the end of the game where the eye is revealed?
Spoilers but I have identified a leitmotif I think Credits theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMDSET0NIyM Song that plays while you ride in car: https://youtu.be/eeXFCM1e-zM?t=1844 I'm curious as to "who" is singing in the credits song... and to whom and why
The motif shows up Field of Hopes and Dreams. It probably also shows up when the story is being explained, and in the battle theme

The conversation with the shopkeeper after you beat Jevil It sounds like Jevil became aware that his world is just a video game after being influenced by a mysterious someone. Best guess is Gaster but we still don't really know a lot about his presence in Delta Rune besides hints...
It kind of bugs me that you climb all the way to the top of the tower and defeat the king in order to turn off the fountain, but you leave without actually turning it off and just assume that Raslei gets around to it later.
Its a great survey.
One of the best surveys.
About that door in the southern area of the town, courtesy of people over at Reddit: If you speed up the sound by 500%, the audio matches the one for Gaster's entry number 17. Also, the room's number is 17, so if you edit your save file as such, you'll spawn in that room. Makes you interested to see what's behind it, doesn''t it?
I may be a bit late here but I only just got around to playing the survey holy fuck that ending
I think Toby made the character 'creation' screen music the same as Gaster's theme as a misdirect; he phrased all those tweets as from him, so that's what everyone expected...only for it to be not related at all.
Who is the person narrating the character creation screen then?
poor Asgore :-(
I just remembered something from the Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1002143342/undertale/posts/541086 $45000 With this amount of money, I will be able to show you more of Undertale's world and characters. Two ideas I have for this are: - Comics - Another game ... The "other" game... I can't tell you anything about it. Its very nature is shrouded in darkness. Ha ha ha.
I thought after the boss fight I'd be able to go back and take the elevator to do extra stuff but nope.. At least it saves just before that, so I can load right before and keep looking for the broken keys. but for now.. 5h of sleep before Smash direct. Look what you made me do Toby.
I can't belive we're in this train again. Why are they there, just to suffer? also I tried to keep some items when returning, only the orb turns into a ball of objects. The rest just dissapears.
I backed up my Undertale installation then installed and ran Deltarune to test this https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/57941/a70b31ee-0cf4-4697-8866-e465085c8376/image.png Either Deltarune doesn't modify Undertale's files or you have to play through some of it first
So it's been discovered there are minor changes between save slots When you check Asriel's drawer in your room the contents change depending on the save slot Slot 1: A torn cross country shirt Slot 2: A school photo ID with an embarrassing haircut Slot 3: A coupon book for pizza (all expired) Also I like how even years later, this thread's subtitle continues to be appropriate

I forgot to mention that the I.M. Meen reference caught me completely off-guard
the what
If you talk to Rouxls Kaard during his first puzzle, he quotes this
Yep. https://twitter.com/tobyfox/status/682650735071330304 https://twitter.com/tobyfox/status/682652097452572672 https://twitter.com/tobyfox/status/682652148639875073 He's been planning deltarune since the very beginning: https://www.reddit.com/r/Deltarune/comments/9t4cws/deltarunecom_on_the_wayback_machine/
The simplicity of GOD DAMN IT got one of the biggest laughs out of me.
It goes so much deeper than that. There's a blueprint for a certain thrashing device from delta rune in sans's basement in the original game
Good lord that ending sequence. Just that slow realization that this is some weird alternate timeline, that something is def wrong after you find that creepy bunker in the woods, and then ofc that final bit. Yeesh. other than that tho, great music, the checker boss fight was hilarious (both times) and yeah like the above post mentioned, that "GOD DAMN IT" line cracked me up. gr8 stuff, can't wait for what's next, sure hope it's not too long a wait tho.
jfc I just came back to sleep and 3 pages
i had to stop for a solid 5 minutes there, i couldnt stop laughting it was SO perfect
