7 Hypnosis.
If it helps some of the attack patterns end sooner when you graze them (barely hitting the bullets so your TP rises). For the carousel my best advice is to dodge them up and down with your movement area being mostly at the bottom right corner. The Sycthe is the most unfair because the point where it starts and move is very random (4 possible movement points) rather than a set pattern, my best advice is to really just focus on the smaller ones and hope you end up on a direction that won't have the red one or see if you can keep yourself in the middle to dodge the red one faster.
"By the way, did you notice that getting close to bullets makes enemy attacks end faster? It doesn't work for every attack, but..."
That is actually pretty funny. I found it weird that most attacks ended too quickly, when it turns out I was just a dummy doing the touhou grazing shit out of habit
Really hope he picks a team of people who are friends with him and familiar with his style. I want non of that drama that comes from group projects seep into this game.
The scythe is all about circular movements, the circular strikes can be more easily dodged by going to the bottom of the screen (but its not a perfect solution, would love to hear a better one) and I still didn't find an answer for the carrousel, it's just bullshit really.
I mean, he's made most of the overworld already and has finished writing the story. The dark world also didn't seem that complex. If he finds a couple competent people and gets into the zone now he could probably finish the game in under a year.
Then again that's just me being optimistic.
With a competent team im sure they can release the full thing in less than 5 years, When you try something new and specially bigger as a dev, self-doubt certainly comes in but he alredy released one heck of a game on his own so i trust the lil dog to keep moving forward, plus the fact they alredy have a foundation with chapter 1 ( no idea if the technical side is up to it though )
I have faith in that dog, though if he wants to get it done in a timely manner, he's really gotta stop playing with those maracas. It's just distracting.
He honestly doesn't need more that two to three people, one being a competant programmer to write a decent framework making any content additions more streamlined and easier and the other being an anxious puppy that gets more and more sad and nervous the longer the game takes in order to motivate and focus people.
Has anyone else caught the "Determination" leitmotif being played during the battle theme somewhat?
It plays right around this part.

Saw this on Reddit. Thought it was interesting.

Hot damn that's a really good observation. It would really give more meaning to Lancer's appearance too on thinking initially it's just a misdirection that he 'only' looks like sans initially, when it's completely possible he actually might be the same species as sans.
so, what, Papyrus isn't his blood brother?
They seem to just dismiss it as Papyrus is probably gullible enough to believe they're brothers.
I found that the heads of the carousel don't actually do damage, so I stuck to the upper part of the screen to avoid most damage.
Sans probably really does care for Papyrus as an adoptive brother but his 'duty' to protect the timeline comes first. And papyrus definitely IS gullible enough to believe that a random skeleton could be his brother.
someone had the theory that they are half brothers. I mean, who says that a monster and a darkener can't have kids?
Played through blindly yesterday and the Game Maker 6 stock explosion animation gave me a hearty chuckle.
yeah sans could easily stop you from killing papyrus even though he cares a lot for him, but he will stop you if youre going to fuck the entire world up
Okay, this is epic

anything that helps guarantee delta rune future is a good thing
I believe in Devolver, they're a great publisher.
Just finished it, went in relatively blind (some spoilers were impossible to avoid).
Time to settle in for the long wait until Chapter 2.
Which idiot indie publisher wouldn't want to publish motherfucking UNDERTALE 2?
I remembered Toby mentioning him turning down many business offers. Perhaps his mind will (or has) change over the years.
Toby really needs some more contacts in the industry if he wants to get help with learning how to direct a team. You couldn't ask for a better publisher than Devolver.

Go say nice things to Tem
Man how cool would it be if each chapter is you and two new friends exploring a different part of the shadow world together? Imagine a level where Kris and Alphys help Mew Mew save her kingdom or something like that. The dialogue would be fuckin hilarious.
What's the deal with Kris tho? He seems hella depressed. Nothing ever gets under his skin, nothing ever really makes him too happy. It seems like you're overriding him and controlling him but he never really wants to be doing any of that.
I don't know what to think of Deltarune being its own world.
On one hand, the characters and the general situation are different enough that it can't really be a sequel. On the other hand, they're, you know, mostly still the same characters from Undertale, same looks and names, so its kind of an alternate reality? On the third hand, Toby says "not to worry too much about that". On the fourth hand, maybe he's just japing everyone by saying that. On the fifth hand, that veers dangerously to the kind of paranoia where you start putting up photographs and text clippings to walls and connecting them with strings...
And on top of all there are Gaster shenanigans.
Kickass chapter 1 though, so whatever it is, I'm interested to find out more when the time comes.
Apparently when you wake up in the beginning you can just go back to bed to skip to the adventure. Nice timesaver.
