Has anybody done speedrun mode yet? I did it earlier today and got a time of 54:49. I was expecting it to be a lot more stressful than it was but I've also been playing through the story on Furier difficulty and since speedrun is just on Furi it felt significantly easier.
I kinda hope they make a fighting game out of the "duel" mode of the game, they already have the cast of characters, it could be fun, something like bushido blade or samurai shodown
mmmm synthwave
Am I doing something wrong on the third boss? [sp]After slowly chipping away at his first phase (why did he have so many barriers?) I get to the bit where he's on top of a pillar. I spent a good 10 minutes charging attacks and hitting the pillar, and the colour very, very slowly changed down to red before I got caught by the ground damage that emerges fro the tower. Is there a faster way of doing this? Charged shots and charged slashes seem to do fuck all.[/sp]

Just keep a steady stream of fire on it and it'll go down eventually. [/sp]

Regular shots fill the area with bullshit in the first round, I thought you had to charge attack him for a gimmick.[/sp]
I mean, that's not a HUGE deal. You just have to get better at either dodging the orbs that are there or be good enough at parries to consistently get HP back.
Its a pretty big deal on certain last segments where youre on your toes for full 2-3 minute segments.

[sp]Like The Song's dives can be shot out[/sp]

How the fuck do you beat the sniper boss? Every time I get close it goes invisible and I have to chase it again
How the fuck do you beat the sniper boss? Every time I get close it goes invisible and I have to chase it again
She has to recover a little between shots. Get right outside the little hexagon she's on, wait for her to fire a shot, then jump in and hit her once and she should stay.
I'm sure it has uses, but i'm up to boss 4 and haven't really found any commonplace uses, but i'm sure that'll change as i progress.
It takes too long to charge to be useful I think. The charged slash is pretty quick and you can release it to do a regular attack at any time.

Plus they go through other bullets easily. Plus as a hint, you absolutely need chargeshots for the final boss.

I prefer getting as much damage as possible which usually means only doing 3 of the 4 slashes or hitting the boss with a constant stream of bullets. Makes phases go a lot quicker.

Is there a way to see my end game stats again? I exited too fast and want to see what my ko and hit count was at again. All I found was a letter grade so far.

Anybody know what the patch did?

fuckin hell i finally beat hard mode yeeesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Can't believe I actually beat Furier difficulty, I am so shitty at this game. Getting the S rank story mode and speedrun achievements is going to suck.
Bought it yesterday + ost and just reached 5th boss. This game and ost are dope as shit.
Still waiting on my Vinyl to come, though I know how weird bandcamp is at processing physical orders having ordered shirts and such in the past. Will post pics when it arrives!

If you practice a little on each boss and get the hang of boosting then you shouldn't have any trouble. Unless you're like me and get hit less than 10 times on every boss then eat paste and take 56 hits on the Scale.

I don't know how the hell some people beat the game in just half an hour. I wish the game had a replay system like Devil Daggers so you could see how other people play.

Had to adapt to using the left trigger to dodge since my thumb was always on the right stick. Didn't know about doing just a quick charge attack. Might have to do that on the S story playthroughs.
Gah. Anyone got any small tips for the last stage of [sp]sniper boss[/sp]? I'm going through all five phases just fine, but then I can't figure out what are the best spots/directions to dodge, without being hit by pretty much everything.
