my air tank glitched and the mask is invisible so the cut scene where you use it the first time was just my dude like waving his hand in front of his face
The fact you literally shit your pants when drinking contaminated water makes me think you're actually Johnny.
Those....should have been in there as well
They weren't. Are you on console?
going into a coop mission is an easy way to get the materials needed to craft some items. just make sure to abuse the fuck out of wooden and normal fences to stall the zombies. if you manage to get enough fences going, you can s rank it, although even if it does fail you still get an a rank and a shit ton of mats and recipes with it.
fuck the screamers in this game fuck OFF
so surprised by how much more tense and necessary the stealth actually is in survive, wanderers fuck you up so quickly
I love the character customization and how a lot of clothes have alt parts you can take on/off, just found a chest rig that can have you be shirtless/normal shirt/BDU so you can be a naked fool or tacticool
Just finished playing 4 hours of single player, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. I also like the story stuff so far, granted I'm a real sucker for seeing my character in cutscenes. i'm really liking the stealth in survive. wanderers are scary af when they spot you because they'll just call in every other wanderer in a radius around. also the camera seems even more claustrophobic when you're in-doors or in corridors compared to the camera in mgsv. [editline]22nd February 2018[/editline] ALSO they took feedback from the beta. you can craft ammo in stacks now. [editline]22nd February 2018[/editline] also hot tip for anybody that's struggling for food, you can save and exit to make the sheep and gerbils respawn by the watering hole at base camp.

Food is fine for me, water is what's got me fucked. Do I just grind out missions till I get a source of clean water?
Food is fine for me, water is what's got me fucked. Do I just grind out missions till I get a source of clean water?
at a certain point [sp]you can craft a second cooking station that has the overhang pot that can make clean water by using 3 dirty waters.[/sp] also the save and exit trick also works for clean water by the watering hole at base camp if you want to cheese it out.
Anyone know where I can find potatoes? Stopped right after unlocking the ability to do farming stuff, and want to be able to take advantage of that when I play tomorrow.
Anyone know where I can find potatoes? It's rather interesting to read positive thoughts on survive here while other people are slamming it Then again people who are out to look for bad things will most likely end up with a verdict like that :v
Having a lot of trouble with the game so far. Can't get my laptops dedicated gpu to work. Edit: looks like I'm out of luck. Amds drivers don't know how to handle it which is why it's defaulted to Intel
Should I pull the trigger boys? I'm enticed by the prospect of an MGSV experience where I haven't gone through every single last morsel of pre-release content with the finest toothed comb thus spoiling literally everything.
also in regards to classes [sp]they're post-game content. you have the main survivor class, and then you pick a sub-class between 4 choices. you can put points into every single one of them, presumably maxing them all out, but you can only have 1 active at a time.[/sp]
What kind of classes are there anyway And does the survivor class only have the abilities it had in the beta?
there's the [sp]assault[/sp], [sp]jaeger[/sp], [sp]medic[/sp], and [sp]scout[/sp]
After a while, the watering hole near your base dries up, and the sheep no longer spawn apparently.
The $10 for another character slot thing puts a sour taste in my mouth, given the amount of work put into the various weapon classes.
Anyone have the issue where every function on the controller works just fine except the left analog stick?
So far the game is really fun, but punishing. Clean water is extremely scarce at first and dying out in the field sends you ALL the way back to base - all progress gone. Also, I had no idea [sp]the nurse would just die on her own, so while I was peeling open wanderers, she croaks and I lose a good 20 minutes of exploring. Thanks, game.[/sp]
Yeah, I've learned that if you find some really cool shit during a mission, go back to your base and drop it off first. Don't risk losing it over some bullshit.
The $10 for another character slot thing puts a sour taste in my mouth, given the amount of work put into the various weapon classes.
Isn't it just cosmetic? My understanding is you can max all the classes but you equip the sub classes one at a time
i feel naked w/o my 5* masterkey
Food and water toward the first couple hours is so intense I didn't feel this rushed to get things done in a timely manner playing even Dead Rising It's pretty cool
Gotta admit, the multiplayer in survive looks real fucking fun, it reminds me of the old Hero Defense mods from wc3, something that sadly never got as popular as Tower Defense maps so there aren't a lot of games that does it. I really don't wanna drop more than like, 20 for that though currently.

It's pretty tense, but exhilarating!
