is there any way to listen to cassettes outside of your home base?
In the archive section of the pause menu you can listen to the story cassettes. The music is just for playing in your base, sadly. [editline]24th February 2018[/editline]
If you can spare the materials, sure. If they're not as good as what you have you can also give them to your supply teams.
Speaking of supply teams. Do they seem to be incredibly underwhelming to anyone else? Like why would I give a team of people my valuable medical supplies so they can spend 20 minutes to gather 7 wood? I can get that by smashing 2 boxes at any teleporter.

And I've reached a point where I can send them out for rare mats, 24 hours for 1 run though. This really is a MGSV mod after all.
There's some... odd stuff in this game. Stuff like getting stuck filling up your canteen with dirty water then only able to empty it by... drinking it
There's some... odd stuff in this game. Note: This comes from some dude on Reddit, I haven't verified it myself yet.
I just noticed that when you're affected by bleeding you actually do drip blood from the location of the wound.
Is it worth sending your exploration teams out on missions? It seems like the rewards aren't really worth it. I can just find most of those in abandoned buildings myself.
Accidentally sent my exploration team out on a 5day mission and it costs money to bring them back, see you in a week Reeves. That being said I am thoroughly enjoying the game and got to the credits screen 31 hours into it, time for the post-game grind.
Apparently some ex-Kojima Productions people put a hidden message in Survive. https://imgur.com/gallery/8X43V [sp]KJP FOREVER[/sp] Notice the "Bastard Yota" and "Cunning Yuji" at the bottom there. Both AWOL 🤔🤔
That was already in mgsv, those are the names of the missing soldiers, and that's the order you find them in

I kinda enjoy what i've seen and tried, but i honestly am a bit unsure if the price is right at the moment The gameplay is pretty good but something about the way main missions are and how the single co-op mode (At moment of writing) seems quite hefty in level height just don't really feel right? I don't really mean by an extreme amount either, like 5-10€ or so
I really, really hope this game has a big enough community to warrant some mods. Particularly, I want a quick-switch between hud on and off, something that pushes the HUD away from my character and into a corner (already happens in binocs mode, hopefully that's not too difficult), quick-switching between arrows, a slightly better basebuilding interface, convenience stuff like that. Maybe, just maybe, a Walkman.
In the archive section of the pause menu you can listen to the story cassettes. The music is just for playing in your base, sadly. Don't mind sparing some extra resources to get a couple batteries or extra aluminum for upgrades. [editline]24th February 2018[/editline]
I'm not sure if $5-10 would be fair, the main story took me 10 hours to beat, and that's with a moderate amount of exploration. There's a good bit of post-game content to do as well. Even if a good portion of the assets are used, there's a good amount of new ones. I'd say $15-20 would be good.
$20 is definitely the sweet spot. Should've had a discount for people who already owned MGSV too.
I can't for the life of me figure out why I can't apply pouches to my higher level armor. I've got the resources required, and yet it just denies me with a nice error sound. Is there something I'm missing?
proper craft station?
If only, but I have[sp]the workshop and can't add pouches to rare and legendary armor[/sp]despite the options being there. I'm also post story.
Finally got the advance campfire, no more farting for me
Got myself the radio tower earlier today, now I get to be depressed watching everyone work the fields as the MGS4 Love Theme plays...Until the Policenauts theme or Calling to the Night comes on and I get all hyped. :v:
Fuck, where did I ever find Nylon Fiber?
you'll find most of your endgame crafting stuff in "zombie africa" near the wormhole teleporters.
Also in true metal gear fashion every major character has an animal theme. Ex: ocelot, snek, etc. Yours is a shrew because you have to eat three times your own body weight in food every day or you die.
:v:
How are the pc controls for survive?
How are the pc controls for survive?
A bit fiddly but they're fine once you get used to them. I wish we could just use the MGSV controls though.
How are the pc controls for survive?

Regarding future content updates* February - Launch Celebration Login Bonus (from Feb 23) March - Adding a new difficulty level for Daily Missions (Hard) - Adding a new difficulty level for Weekly Missions (Hard) - Adding a new type of mission in CO-OP - Adding a new event: CO-OP mission with a new rule - Adding the possibility to change some of the in-game controls - Changing the personal score calculation so it takes the digger acceleration into account * The detailed schedule for these updates will be announced later * Due to development schedule, the schedule may slightly differ * We will continue to fix the balance and glitch continuously
Probably when there will be a sale of the game there will be ability to use almost if not fully identical controls as in TTP.
Probably when there will be a sale of the game there will be ability to use almost if not fully identical controls as in TTP.
How ate the controls in TPP?
Guys, I have a question/request. Can someone (linked for those who aren't there) please take a screenshot of their map showing the location of Transporter 5 [sp]in Africa[/sp]? I seem to have reached the post game whilst completely passing this particular one.
A bit fiddly but they're fine once you get used to them. I wish we could just use the MGSV controls though.
Thanks, let me just rephrase my question. I've played TPP on the console so I'm not sure if I need to use a controller for Survive. I liked the controls in TPP a lot, not sure how it works out with keyboard and mouse.
completed last night. saw some post game stuff? spoiled so going to continue playing. Kinda sad I've enjoyed it more than MGSV
To get better base buildings and improve the base past level 2, you need to do post-game base digging, also keep in mind, the SECOND wave starts 12 hours AFTER the first, it will start REGARDLESS if you are their or not, that is where the base defense team actually comes into play. I think to S-Rank you need to have a very good base defense team, or do the wave yourself, so plan the timing if you want to be their 12 hours later. Im assuming the earlier normal digs play out rather fine with a C or B defense team if you arent playing and you can just stack and move around crew members if you have a surplus of food/water/meds
If your base team fails how big are the consequences?
