Chapter 3 will be Konami's new Metal Gear Solid pachinko project.
Chapter 3 will be Konami's new Metal Gear Solid pachinko project.
It already happened Chapter 3=Metal Gear Solid 3 Pachinko
A shame that would have required backflips of ret-conning to accomplish.
Considering MGSV was willing to throw XOF and the Parasites into MGS3 without any fucks given, it wouldn't of surprised me.
No joke, Chico may have been Gray Fox and the concept art for it looked kinda awesome.
for those that haven't seen it [thumb]https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/metalgear/images/6/60/IV1xBrF.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20161111023400[/thumb] so fucking cool
another beta starting soon+steam beta
HD Collection was p'cheap on PSN so I ended up getting it, PS3 PW is all I could ask for. But I never found coop partners for the bosses, probably cause I'm fighting the first heli boss :v:
Considering MGSV was willing to throw XOF and the Parasites into MGS3 without any fucks given, it wouldn't of surprised me.
"you didn't see it but it was actually there" is acceptable. AFAIK nothing in MGS3 contradicted the possibility of XOF or the Parasites. Frank Jaeger, however, is already an established character with an established backstory that contradicts Chico's.
any plans to get a FP group going for survive?
The thought of buying survive is already awful enough
i'll be on the steam beta.
any plans to get a FP group going for survive?
During the beta we could use the "misc-fp-games" text chat in the Facepunch Discord.
I thought portable ops was massively debated on its canon
Most generally see it as, "the broad event happened, but none of the in-depth shit like Null or the like can really be considered canon."
A shame that would have required backflips of ret-conning to accomplish.
True, but it certainly would have worked better than Null, which made Gray Fox like 40+ years old in Metal Gear 1.
The thought of buying survive is already awful enough
Idk why people are "dumb"ing you Face it people, Survive isn't a real MG don't let your thirst for a new MG game mislead you
Idk why people are "dumb"ing you Face it people, Survive isn't a real MG don't let your thirst for a new MG game mislead you
We're well aware that it isn't, but it seems fun enough to me at least.
Idk why people are "dumb"ing you Face it people, Survive isn't a real MG don't let your thirst for a new MG game mislead you
Nobody thinks it's going to be a real Metal Gear. It's never been advertised as such and they've been up front about it being a non-canon spin-off. Personally I'm going to wait for the verdict after release before trying it and I don't think I'd get it at the price it currently has anyway, but a lot of people who've played it seem to think it's genuinely pretty fun for what it is. This constant aggressive Metal Gear fanboyism where those who want to simply try it for themselves are basically being told that whether they like it or not is moot because "it's not a ~real~ metal gear" and thus is automatically objectively terrible is getting pretty tiresome.
Idk why people are "dumb"ing you Face it people, Survive isn't a real MG don't let your thirst for a new MG game mislead you
because the guy's been incessantly complaining about survive for ages in every single thread that pops up about survive. nobody is getting fooled that this isn't a main mgs game. nobody is getting fooled into purchasing it.
Idk why people are "dumb"ing you Face it people, Survive isn't a real MG don't let your thirst for a new MG game mislead you
It's fortnite with a metal gear skin and a few differences and on fox engine "good enough" is the words
Man, every time someone compares it to Fortnite, I forget Fortnite has another mode that isn't battle royale.
Fortnite Battle Royale is a tacked on mode that was thrown in because of PUBG hype after the game had already been announced and worked on as the PvE mode for like 5 years [editline]8th February 2018[/editline] I recall signing up for the alpha eons ago after a blurb in Game Informer and forgetting about it until early last year I still have my alpha invitation email from 2014 that I didn't get to use [editline]8th February 2018[/editline] It's gonna be funny if MG Survive ends up being more enjoyable, I wasn't really pleased with Fortnite when I finally bought it.

I guarantee you pretty much every big game company has some bad shit going on behind the scenes that we don't hear about. Maybe not Konami bad, but still.
It's fortnite with a metal gear skin and a few differences and on fox engine "good enough" is the words
If it was Fortnite with a MG skin I'd actually like it. The changes they made to the MGSV formula and they changes they needed to make but didn't are the biggest reasons as to why I don't even have plans to get it from fuckin' G2A or something.

By the way "Konami has been bad forever and other companies are bad too" is a fucking shit excuse to buy a game from a company that you know is actively mistreating someone and you know how they've mistreated them in the past. But hey it has Metal Gear in the title right? That means I should buy it because I definitely want more metal gear from none of the original creators or with any oversight of the series creator. You make me sick with how complacent you are
I'm buying it because I thought the beta was genuinely fun, and it's been a slow couple of months for games so far.
There have been 31 games released in 2018 as of today that don't rely on being an over priced expansion and tormenting former employees. Many of these games are also over 60 hours. Did you actually look for games? Or are you scrambling to rationalize and justify your purchase?
