wow, that's awful. most of the legendary cards are just straight up stat boosts that will add a mandatory grind to playing a character properly
they literally just changed the most popular drogoz card to a legendary so that everyone has to grind for it to make him playable again

Stuff that changes gameplay should be easy to obtain, like TF2 with their weapon drops. Not immense and tedious grind that will turn off alot of newer players before fixed. Skins are cheaper then cards and holy shit that is bad design.

I don't think TF2 is that great of an example since most of the weapon drops are limited to the random drop chance.
I think normal cards should go back to being buy able with gold again. Keep them also being buy able with essence too, that way people can save gold for cosmetics and characters if they wish and to make essence not useless when you get all the legendary cards you want.

Uh, Makoa was already able to do that before this update though, they simply turned the effect into a card. Also it only affects hit next shot on the target, like it always did.

It's the exact same effect he always had since he was released, the legendary card that gives that perk now is the default legendary card. Literally nothing changed on that aspect.

If you wanted to complain about Drogoz' cards you should have mentioned him instead of getting outraged about Makoa's. That other post makes no sense.
In this patch, they removed almost every "bonus" effect from character's skills. (Extra damage after using skills mainly) Most of those bonuses were made into Legendary cards and buffed to cpmpensate for only being able to have one bonus now.
Drogoz, for example, they removed the bonus damage after using Booster and the knockback from Spitefire. His legendaries either give him more direct damage, utility, or mobility. I personally prefer the knockback myself since it's good for dispersing people off objectives.
I think the system overall is pretty cool, but the grind is currently too much and I hope they do fix that issue. There are also a few legendaries that are obviously better than the rest (imo) like Makoa hook damage, but overall, I think most of them are balanced with each other.

Anyone else really hating Grover's root legendary card?
Combine not being able to move plus the massive hitbox of grover's axes to make it undodgeable.
You're just dead as soon as you're stuck unless it's a 1v1 and you're playing a character with 4000+ health since as soon as you're stuck their entire team just fires all at once and doesn't miss.
Every Grover I've fought runs this card and it's quite bullshit when they have a competent team.
