Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the god damn piece of shit slow wifi connection on ps4? I dont have the slim or pro so i cant use the 5ghz network and ive tried a bunch of "fixes" from google with none of them working. It has a signal strength of 76 with a dl/ul of 200kbps/1.8mbps. My connection speed on my phone is 90mbps/50mbps, even with a signal strength of 50%, and the ps4 cant even get to 1 mbps download.
I doubt it's fixable, feels like every unit of PS4 I had ( fat one, ps pro on launch day, and another ps pro white released lately with destiny 2 ) had Wifi speed issues, I have 200Mb/s connection with more then enough powerful router and while every device I connect to Wifi works no problems around 150Mbs, every Playstation just doesn't even get over 25Mbs. I know thats no trouble compared to yours, but it is still just wasting potential of any network it is connected to over Wifi. If you have the posibility, use the cable
Both the PS4's I've had (Regular 500gb and Pro 1TB) have had great WiFi speeds. My old router was limited to 100mb/s, my PS4 got around 80mb/s over WiFi. Switched to a new router, and my PS4 went up to 170mb/s. Only 30mb/s less than the connection I'm using. Think it's honestly just luck of the draw.

[editline]12th December 2017[/editline] could just tell the gf she cant park her car in the garage and just put my shit in there. [editline]12th December 2017[/editline] from what i hear its really dependent on how good your router plays with your ps4. truly luck of the draw, just wish they hadn't put such a shitty wireless card in the ps4.
Wait, the slim and Pro has 5ghz band?
Should add Yakuza 6 to upcoming, the localized version is coming march 20th

Got my PS4 to do acceptable speeds over Wifi with that. Can't for the life of mine remember what the thing is called, I'll research this. :v: [editline]12th December 2017[/editline] It was precisely this thing: https://www.asus.com/Networking/EAN66/

One end at your router the other at your PS4 wired into it.
Ive suggested this to other people, but have you looked into getting a powerline? One end at your router the other at your PS4 wired into it.
Powerline changed my life for the better. I was skeptical until I tried it, it fixed literally every issue in my house, and was a fair bit cheaper than the new router I tried out.
Ive suggested this to other people, but have you looked into getting a powerline? [editline]14th December 2017[/editline] Actually i see lots of manufacturers make them. Any suggestions?
Make sure your house's/apartment's wiring is decent before you get one though. If you have an old house or apartment, Powerline is not going to work well.
I have a powerline adapter as well and it's great, but in my experience it didn't help with download speeds. I bought it because my router is on another floor and that lead to inconsistent signal strength.

[editline]14th December 2017[/editline] how much of a complete collection is kh1.5 + 2.5 remix? i've had a bunch of kingdom hearts songs stuck in my head for the past couple days and i really want to play through them again. if i got that and 2.8 would that be pretty much every kh game so far? how does chain of memories play out? i've only played the original on gba.

Chain of Memories is kind of like if you took KH1 and slapped cumbersome card-based combat with decks you pre-assign and utilize in an action combat system; the fanbase is pretty torn up on which is better between the GBA version and the remake. Major cutscenes suffer in the remake, though, since they were pre-rendered, so they didn't even remotely try to properly lip sync dialogue for english compared to all the other games, and for the remaster, it's obvious they didn't touch up the cutscenes at all to try to fit in the new in-game HD textures or such. Not quite as much of an issue in the GBA version given that it had no voice acting and the system limitations, obviously. Hell, the fact that they managed to do something like that on the GBA was impressive as is.
well i really liked the gameplay of the gba original, wasn't sure if they kept the card system or scrapped it and just went classic kh. will pick them up when i can afford.

However i've seen opinions vary between whether the GBA version or Remake were more fun. It'll come down to what you prefer really.
Hello everybody. I've been trying to play PS1 game on my PS Vita using Adrenaline and the dumped PS1 disc .ISO. But Adrenaline Bubble Booter just wont boot the game ISO. Here's what I did; - Install Henkaku, Molecular Shell - Install Adrenaline - Install Adrenaline Bubble Booter Installer - Put the PS1 ISO in ux0:pspemu/ - Make a PSPEMU001.VPK , which was made from AdrBubbleBooterCreator.exe. I set the game file path to ms0:/ . DIdnt set any icon images. Everything else is default. - Installed that PSPEMU001.VPK - But when I start up the PSPEMU001 app in Vita, it just boot up the PSP XMB menu. It didnt boot up the PS1 game. I cant see the PS1 game in the booted PSP XMB menu either. How can I play the PS1 game? what did I do wrong? Thanks.
Guys I need help! My friends will come over at my house for New Year's Eve and proposed to do some co-op videogames on my Playstation 4 Pro, the problem being I don't have any. Any suggestions? The budget would be around 30-40 bucks and we'd like nothing especially deep or fancy. It speaks volume that the only game I could bring to the table and that I own at the moment is Until Dawn
Haven’t been able to put the Witcher 3 down since I started playing it. I put off buying it on PS4 since it apparently had some issues when it first came out and it seems like CD Projekt did a good job of fixing them. Right now, I’m splitting time between completing story quests around Velen and walking around Novigrad which I’m probably too underleveled for. I seriously can’t get over how much of an amazing city Novigrad is. I love Dragon’s Dogma, but I’m having a hard time overlooking how bare bones Gran Soren and the other locations are now that I’ve seen Novigrad.
Guys I need help! If you have only two controllers, you can still play up to four people total since two people can split one controller. Would be kind of awkward playing that way, but its manageable.
I FINALLY have enough money to buy my first second hand PS4 It won't look amazing on my 22" TV but I'll finally be able to play witcher III, Bloodborne, Nier, persona, final fantasy, dark souls, titanfall 2, crash, horizon and all the rest But I still don't know what one to get, there are quite a few. 500gb or 1tb, pro or slim Does it matter too much?

I've had one since a year after launch, I do have to delete games sometimes to make space but they're games I'm probably never going to play again. The reason I say this for you is that, with a 22" TV having a pro won't benefit you much, and if it's a full HD screen the size means you'll get pretty good pixel density making everything really sharp and crisp. You also mention it took you a while to save up for a second hand PS4, which makes me think you won't be buying too many games too often, so 500GB should be fine. (You can always upgrade the HDD in the future). Whether you get the slim or fat it doesn't really matter beyond that, whichever is cheapest or you prefer. I had a load of fun with the first game. 4 of you can play on the same screen at the same time. There's also "That's You!" which is like a party game you use your smartphone with. I have a free code for it if you want. (You may be able to get it free anyway if you have PS+).
I hope I'm not coming across as being too judgmental, but the standard PS4 500GB will be fine
Thanks, to be honest, that was the answer I was hoping for. And don't worry, you weren't being judgemental. It's the reason I put those details so someone doesn't just go "yeah mate buy the new pro 1tb and a VR headset too." I'm not in the most... Financially stable... Position right now so I'm happy that I don't have to shell out massive dosh for my Christmas present. :v: Thanks again.
In the end we opted for Metal Slug Anthology (nice) and Helldivers (what the fuck is that)
Helldivers (what the fuck is that)
A twinstick shooter in a lovely parody of Starship Troopers and Halo. I love to pop it in every once in a while and find a ton of people online.

They're not on sale right now, but if you wait long enough you can get the 2TB version for $54.99 and 4TB for as low as $74.99. I bought the 2TB one for my slim for around $65 and I still have more than half the space available even after filling it with a ton of games. So I got Playstation VR and I'm really freaking loving it so far. The Demo Disc has some great games I'd totally buy, but since its VR no one has put up initial thoughts. For people who have Playstation VR, what do you think of: 1. Job Simulator 2. Eve: Valkarie 3. Raw Data 4. Megaton Rainfall 5. Archangel 6. Super Hot VR
Over Christmas I actually found time to put some hours in on my PS4 and managed to make some real progress in Horizon. Other than the absolutely fucky facial animations that game is incredible to look at. Every new area is a treat. And the combat actually got interesting now there's big machines that can just erase me showing up. I'm pretty sure I'm over levelled for the area I'm at and it's still a tough fight from time to time. Also Uncharted 4 is pretty neat I suppose. I'd be playing that right now if I didn't leave my fucking gamepad at my parents place.
Holy shit Playstation 3 controllers getting impossible to find. This is the third Dualshock 3 in a row I've gotten used from Gamestop that was DOA. Do any of you guys have any spares you want to sell that still work? Oh, also anyone pre-order World of Waifus yet?
