Got my PS4, love it Except for the fact it'll randomly eject the disc at times. Not quite sure why that happens but I found letting the front hang off my desk about an inch fixes that. Currently playing MGS V WITCHER III and DARK SOULS III I'm terrible at all of them :v:

If you're finding the movement in The Witcher 3 to be too clunky, try changing the control scheme in the Gameplay menu from standard to alternate. It allows Geralt to make easier turns when you're running around places. There's also a bunch of other stuff that you can tinker around with like changing what shows up in the hud or removing motion blur if that bothers you.

Parents treated themselves to a PS4 this christmas and have been enjoying the Uncharted collection. Haven't had a single issue with the console, but would like to know just in case. Thanks.

From what I've looked up they seem to be the same. I will note that I've never had an issue with the PS4 turning off or ejecting disks, I just figured that if his table was getting hot it might be enough to set off the eject button.
I'm getting a PS4 just for this.
Let's play together when it comes out. I haven't really visited the console mega threads. I've been a PC dude for awhile, but my Sister got a PS4 last Christmas and promptly never used it so I ended up using it and I liked it so much that I got a PS3 and now all I do is fucking play Project Diva games. But in general I kind of use the PS4 now for like a general media hub for my living room TV because it's easier to use Netflix and Youtube on it with a controller than the keyboard and mouse on the computer we have hooked up to it. Anyone else play the Miku games?

I did it. I got the gold relic for the crash bandicoot time trial on the Stormy Ascent level. It's now the rarest trophy I own at 0.3%. Overtaking my littlebigplanet plat at 0.4% which I got back in 2009.
I think the rarest trophy I have is Cult Movie from GTA V at 0.2%. It's actually a really easy trophy to get, but I guess nobody played the story mode or something?
What are the requirements for that one?
Use the epsilon cult leader Cris Formage in director mode. That's literally it. I think you have to play through the epsilon missions to unlock him first though, still not a big deal.

Just been looking and there's a trophy for exporting 10 movies using the rockstar editor and the rarity is 0.1%. Could probably get it in 15-20 minutes.
The Playstation Store is currently running its January Sale and a fuckton of games are currently discounted. I'm getting Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds for sure, but I'm currently torned up about also buying Berserk and the Band of the Hawk + Complete Extra Scenarios Set DLC. I'd buy the latter on the PS4 because I can't see it getting any cheaper than the current offer (roughly 35 bucks) on Steam. I've never bought a Warriors-like game but I'm a fan of the Berserk story arcs covered by the game. Can anyone give me a reccomandation for it or something?

It has some some really nice moments and the story is being retold in a pretty decent manner. That said the combat gets stale extremely fast compared to other Warriors games. Mostly because you will almost solely play as Guts. At least in other Warriors games, you have a very diversified rooster of characters. Don't get me wrong, it's quite enjoyable but very gets boring rather quickly.
There is new DLC for Taiko added more Miku music, some popular J-Pop and a bunch of other stuff. If you're into these sorts of games you guys should take a look at picking it up from PlayAsia or something.
This is a bit of a off question, but do you guys have any recommendations for games that have a lot (ideally endless) grinding that isn't warframe? I'm out a gaming computer for the foreseeable future and the desire to grind needs to be satisfied something fierce.

There's a lot of grinding for weapons and armor, and materials for forging (upgrading equipment). You can also farm Glory for more equipment or other goodies like costume swaps for your character.

Its been updated a lot since then and it seems like there's a lot more levels and other additions to the base game. I'd say its still worth it to go through the game once since there's also a couple new weapon types you can experiment with and all of the DLC has been released.

Diablo 3 is also pretty great in that regard especially due to the local coop. Also Shadow of War might work for you, it has some grindy elements that can keep you hooked for a while.

For diablo I've never been able to get into that style of rpgs, it's never really clicked with me for whatever reason. I've heard that shadow of war is rather grindy, and I did generally enjoy the first game but with some of the stuff I've heard about their practices there I'm not terribly inclined to grab it.
snip
Well main campaign of nioh done, still have the dlc to do and a infinite dungeon to look forward to I guess. Edit: I lied. Back to the search for a grind game.
Anyone else having issues with installing games? My ps4 does this 'Copying application' thing and then breaks once it hits 80% :s:
Aw yeah Dark Cloud 2 finally on sale and I bought it. I feel like they did that just for me
Finally getting around to playing the last of us, I'm at the beginning of winter. [sp]if I had not watched the trailer for last of us 2 when it was announced I genuinely would have thought that Joel had died right then and there in that science center.[/sp]
The Last of Us is my jam. I wish I could play it again fresh from the beginning.
Welp got to the final NG+ in Nioh, time for abyss fuckery.
