Traded in my launch PS4 and a couple of games to upgrade to the Pro. I also used a 50% extra trade value credit(for games) coupon to make it even cheaper. I was expecting to pay at minimum $250, but I was definitely happy it only came to about $202.
I can finally play games without the PS4 spitting out discs when it gets too hot.

Jokes aside, I would like to know how this team up happened.
Thing that impressed me the most when I got the pro, it's whisper quiet even when playing games that caused my old PS4 to shit itself.
I can play Witcher and the Pro can't even be heard with the TV muted/
I heard a lot of people say the Pro was really loud. Is yours quite a recent model? They may have fixed it in a later hardware revision.
It's the white one. Got it in November, been quite as a mouse for everything.
I heard that the pro goes loud when you use that 4k hdr thing and boost mode at the same time. But I can't confirm that since I don't have a 4k tv.

The quality of the monthly games are definitely improving. Should I watch the new Mad Max movie before playing the game or does it not matter?
The game proper was years in development before Fury Road ever started being filmed, so the two media can be considered pretty much separated.
That said, it appears the developers did adjust some of the story elements later on in order to make the game some sort of a stealth prequel to Fury Road.
So, if anything, you should play the game first and then watch the movie

I'm on my way towards that, which is remarkable for me since I usually lose interest long before. Do I need to 3-star all the "Taskmaster" challenges to get 100% or am I good just beating them?
You can just beat them for it to count for area completion/beating Taskmaster.
Just need to make sure you have enough challenge tokens to buy the suits.
Oh ok awesome, that was my only worry with getting 100% completion. I went nuts with missions so I have tons of surplus tokens of all categories, and already have all suits and whatnot(except ESU Spidey and Undies Spidey obviously).
Medievil is one of my favorite games of all time and I still replay it to this day. This is fucking glorious. Can't freaking wait, lets hope they finally include the super badass sounding levels that were cut from the original game, like the Coffin Vault and the Halls of Illusion!
Is it just me or are the enemies looking a little bit too cartoony though? I always loved how the original Medievil had this proper gothic look that could've suited a proper horror game, if it weren't for the occasional goofy looking characters and humor.
The more childlike style of Resurrection turned me off a lot, so I'm hoping the Remake won't have the same atmosphere and theme as that game had.

I have an msi laptop that was gifted to me 2 years ago and its great and all but the games I play on PS4 cant be played on the PS3 which is in my room and I tried playing it on Steam but its just not the same?

Just got a PS4 and I'm trying to figure out something before I buy a game.
I wanna buy Kingdom Hearts 1 + 2 +Alien+Predator so I can do some Level 1 crit stuff on 2. However, I believe I have to complete 2 to unlock Crit or Level 1 mode, and I really cannot be bothered with that. My friend has a 100% save for the game on his PS4, but unfortunately lives several hours away, so just sharing a USB stick with the save is not an option. Is he able to upload the save online so I have access to it?
You'd only be able to use his save if he gives you his account information, and you play it on his account on your ps4.

I got God of War the other day when it was half price and fuck me this game is amazing. I put off playing it because I didn't play any of the previous ones and had no interest in the franchise, but I'm regretting not picking this up earlier now. Unless the quality drops halfway through the game or something this might be my goty.
I got my Playstation classic in the mail today and here's my review: cute, sucks shit.
Even the controller feels like a cheap ebay knockoff. It's light as a feather and the plastic sucks. That's not even mentioning the fact the emulator sucks and half the games are in PAL so they run slower.
Display piece only. Until someone hacks retroarch onto it.
I was thinking of getting one even if it lacked games, just for the eventual crack of it or whatever, but once I read that it actually had inferior performance to the OG Playstation I decided against it.
I just wanted something that perfectly emulated the PS1 and wasn't as cumbersome as the PS3, but that was asking too much from Sony I guess
