[t]https://imgkk.com/i/veys.jpg[/t] Bet you've never seen a four-turret jack-in-the-box from the same fucking tank.
Enjoying the "Ground Loving Whore", eh?
My grandfather was an air force pilot for his first 20/30 yrs in the air force - one of his primary duties was flying the KC-135. Which was quite the technological step up from his original assignment, which was flying the C-47 and C-123 in the 60's in Vietnam. It also got him away from flying in hot zones, which was nice. Buut, there were some downsides. The early KC-135 had 4 turbojets, instead of the two turbofans now equipped, typical of jet aircraft of the time. They had to use water-injection systems (akin to WEP in WWII fighters) to takeoff, since the water increased the exhaust gas density and cooled the turbines allowing them to run harder (increased thrust by ~3000lbf). He says it was still scary as hell to fly though, since with a full load of fuel it damn near crawled into the air. Early jets were scary as fuck.
Yeah, first gen jets were good pretty much at going fast in a straight line and nothing else. MiG-15bis and F Sabre were where it started kind of breaking, but non air-superiority aircraft had to wait for a reasonable climb rate for a good while longer.

That is certainly one of the more interesting twin engine designs I have seen.
That is certainly one of the more interesting twin engine designs I have seen.
yet it was total failure as combat airplane ...
I'm basically in hibernation waiting for my steaming pasta delivery, but: [t]http://i.imgur.com/xepZvjb.jpg[/t] WiP Client gives you a navy-esq gunner view now. Supposedly plane-to-tank X-Ray was briefly enabled too, but it never worked for me.
Well I missed my chance to get a rokkit trukk. RIP
Well I missed my chance to get a rokkit trukk. RIP
Me too. IDGAF as i have the callio-pie anyway.
That is certainly one of the more interesting twin engine designs I have seen.
Its an extremely pretty plane IMO, even if it is a piece of shit. Those oval shaped bomb mount points are elegant as hell
Its an extremely pretty plane IMO, even if it is a piece of shit. Those oval shaped bomb mount points are elegant as hell
Italians were actually good at making planes, even aesthetically pleasing planes that performed well. RIP that industry tho
I feel like sometimes this game is taking the piss. I routinely get ganked as i'm hiding behind acres of brush and trees, zero chance whoever was on the other side knew i was there prior.
Heads up, the floats event is back! Edit: OH GOD THE BV 238 IS ALLOWED IN, HELP.
I feel like sometimes this game is taking the piss. I routinely get ganked as i'm hiding behind acres of brush and trees, zero chance whoever was on the other side knew i was there prior.
That's why you should play with your foliage and grass settings on low, because pretty much everyone who knows about it does. Chances are you were hiding in a place that on low settings was completely barren of any foliage at all.

So i'm being penalized for playing the game how it was presumable intended to be played. That's awful.
Grinding out HEAT-FS on the M48 has made me want to gouge my eyes out. Having to use APCR as stock ammo is BAAAD, although it's able to penetrate mantlet areas of most Russian tier 5 vehicles. APHE is good only if you can flank or can shoot a cuppola up close, or fighting Leos. After researching HEAT-FS, I am finally getting kills regularly!

4X .50 cals lol
There's a 2 x 30mm version in use with Germany, but better still, there's the earlier Fiat G.80/82 with only 2 x .50 cals. [t]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-O9mwQdsXPCU/Twv8-GrzLEI/AAAAAAABTAg/13EH2hIfm8U/s1600/FiatG82-03.jpg[/t]
In War Thunder, the T-55 will continue down the path set by the T-54. Players will now have the chance to further exploit the chassis’s great mobility by utilising the new gun stabilizer and a boosted engine to perform fast flanking attacks, not stopping until the enemy is turned into a burning wreck. Also, new ammunition will be available for this vehicle - BOPS 3B25 and KS ZBK-17 ammo, the first one is the APDS-FS, and the second one is an HEAT-FS round that has reduced ricochet chance.
Excellent, more rank 5 vehicles that I'll never grind
The biasest of slavs! Now they get stabilizers too?! [sp]For reals tho, it seems to fit the theme now the Leo 1A1A1 and the M60A1 are in the game, not to mention the Chieftain.[/sp]
The biasest of slavs! Now they get stabilizers too?!
What do you mean now? :excited: The T-10M, T-62, Obj 906, PT-76, ZSU-23-4, and IT-1 all have them iirc.

I don't play the Soviets, but I assumed from the magnitude of butthurt stabilizers gave all the slavshit-players that basically no Soviet tanks had stabs.
