Nevermind then.
The howitzer in the hull is useless for every single application except deleting trucks. It only had 4mm pen HE on dev. If they let it shoot smoke, at least the Churchill I can cloud itself permanently while firing harmless 40mm carrots at the enemy. And it was only the later 95mm lobbers that got HEAT for UK, afaik. Even though the Scott's HEAT is probably interchangeable with the gun on the Churchill I
It had smoke on the dev server I believe
It had smoke on the dev server I believe
Nup, had to send in a report for it. At least on the very initial dev launch. They also forgot to give it the usual QF 2-Pounder stablization since it had a shoulder-stop.
They also forgot to give it the usual QF 2-Pounder stablization since it had a shoulder-stop.
I'm almost sure there were some 2-pounder tank mountings that used geared elevation, actually
do we know yet where the new tanks are gonna be on the tree yet? specifically: obj 268, t95e1 and m60a2? [editline]a[/editline] oh shit, this got posted yesterday http://warthunder.com/en/news/4728-development-piaggio-p-108a-a-sailor-s-worst-nightmare-en
do we know yet where the new tanks are gonna be on the tree yet? specifically: obj 268, t95e1 and m60a2?
You could just ask a either me or milan who both sperged over dev. iirc: T95E1 is after M103 M60A2 is after T95 (not E1, in the TD line) Obj 268 is after SU-122-54 [7.7BR]

So I just spaded my Hurricane Mk IIB/Trop (Fuckin great plane btw, spaded in about a day). I still have modifications RP sitting there unused, worse even, I cant stop the game from making this box pop up every time I switch into another menu, even when I have a completely different plane/vehicle/nation selected. [t]http://i.imgur.com/srTajnW.png[/t] Any reasonable fix?

I don't think the Chieftain got that ammo change. Now it's just a slightly faster Chieftain at 8.3.
Regular Chieftan Mk.5 still used APDS(L15A4 or smth), the variant that was able to carry APFSDS was the Mk.5/4 which had modified ammo racks.
Regular Chieftan Mk.5 still used APDS(L15A4 or smth), the variant that was able to carry APFSDS was the Mk.5/4 which had modified ammo racks.
L15A4 should AFAIK be depleted uranium tipped, though, and be much more penetratey than L15A3 we have on Mk3. The issue is it's hard to come by actual figures on how it should perform (that's been kinda true for L15A3 too, though). We've prompted the devs about both the L15A4 and some APDSFS, we will see what they think. [editline]25th May 2017[/editline] I have already figured out the most disgusting sqad strat for 1.69 tanks. Maus has a 75mm secondary cannon. It can carry 100 rounds of ammo for it. The cannon reloads in like 4 seconds. It has smoke ammo that maintains the smoke puff for ~20 seconds. Put 4 of these in a squad And fucking blaze it

Can someone answer a couple of newbie questions of mine. I have been playing on and off since 2013 but haven't really figured these out. 1) Optimizing climb. I speed up to 230 mph or so and nose up until I hold airspeed, usually while using WEP. I typically spiral or sideclimb. I still find myself below aircraft that should not be able to outclimb me. What am I doing wrong? 2) How do I deal with low altitude focused planes? Their acceleration is scary to the point where I swear I can see some planes catching up to me in a zoom climb from a couple thousand meter dive. I almost always have my approach foiled by a last minute turn. I can't compel them to remain close to my alt, so I either have to dive down to them and risk getting killed or remain at altitude and not contribute anything. What is the proper way to handle this? 3) Energy management. How do I lower my altitude in a controlled manner while preserving airspeed to attack someone much lower than I am? How can I turn the tables on someone with an energy advantage? 4) Supporting team vs staying alive. How do I spot the difference between a bait and a foolish decision from a teammate? When is it best to go down with the team instead of holding my altitude advantage? If someone is grinding up the Italian line any time soon and would be willing to have my tag along so they could give me some advice, I would really appreciate it.
No smoke launchers on lower-tier vehicles that have them, what the hell? Even the RU251 with it's big ol' smoke-rack on the ass don't get it. Also the Assault ground battles are pretty ridiculous. Like, the AI just straight-up cheats. I get that they need some advantage to not be utterly shit, but Churchills driving 40km/h and tanks carrying on driving after having driver, engine and transmission taken out?

The CR.32 has reached murder machine status.

Just tried the Puma, confirmed for speed. I can foresee many memes to be had with this chariot.

before anyone asks yes you can shoot down planes with smoke rounds

AND before anyone asks again yes you can kill tanks with smoke rounds
What aircraft are you flying?
This mainly applies to the P-51D-10, but anything that climbs or relies on altitude to boom and zoom or energy fight fits the bill.
This mainly applies to the P-51D-10, but anything that climbs or relies on altitude to boom and zoom or energy fight fits the bill.
It really depends on what you're fighting, but there are a lot of misconceptions about the Mustang and air combat in general you might find useful. The first is that it actually has kind of a weak spot between 3.5km and 6km where it performs comparably sluggish, and it's actually surprisingly excellent at low altitudes. 360mph (580kmh) is actually faster than a Yak-3 at sea level The second is that altitude being the be-all-end-all is an oversimplification that I think gives people the wrong idea about air combat. You aren't necessarily climbing to gain an altitude advantage over your opponent (though that certainly helps), it's a way of storing energy for later use, while also denying maneuver space to your opponents. Once you reach a decent altitude, you'll find more success in picking up straight line speed, so that if someone does pounce you, you have the speed and agility to reverse it. This is really key in the Mustang which feels very heavy at low speeds, but feels a lot more graceful once it gets going (probably due to laminar flow wings, etc) The primary advantages I look to push with the Mustang are its dive speed and energy retention (go into gentle dives, and then zoom climb, much like a jet, and you can gain distance easily on lower energy opponents), and its agility at high speeds. Really it depends what you're fighting, your approach versus and FW-190 and Bf-109 will be near complete opposites As for optimising climb, it matters less than you think. As long as you aren't pushing stall speeds you're okay. Climb at lower speeds if you want to meet your opponents later, higher speeds if you want to meet them sooner. Generally I increase my climb speed as I gain altitude and as I get closer to combat, in case a fight starts

you literally just fly a plane and win without having gone AFK to wank and you get the premium Cr.42 which is missing few modules Br.20 is also bae; 100% confirmed best Era I Italian plane. [t]http://i.imgur.com/yCJDF5S.jpg[/t] thank
Why is the stock G6 so fucking bad compared to the G2?
