There also the VK 16.02, supposedly.
Edit:
I just remembered the 16.02 is user made, so it's probably going to be a premium.
Are you sure that person didn't forget they installed it? 's not in my files. It would be odd for Gaijin to not merge it with the ger_tanks folder or whatever it is.
No idea how the CDK file structure works, so that may be it. I'll ask him.
Edit: Confirmed for fake news.

I'm always exited for new vehicles but FML do they introduce them in the wrong way.

At least this time none of them are remotely outstanding. It's no KV-220 or F7F-3 tier of better than what you get in the tree.

Remember when your panther/king tiger burst into flames after being hit by MG fire? Gaijin intentionally coded it that way.

It may have those things but it won't have anything else. On its own it will be fucking terrible, it must be packaged with a Malyutka ATGM, otherwise it would be one of the worst-armed vehicles in the game. It has HEAT rounds, true, but the 73mm low-pressure gun is awful in any universe.

I never really noticed this.
I never really noticed this.
The threshold is such that it would only commonly happen on incredibly tanky higher-tier vehicles. The ferdinand comes to mind. There's a maus example linked in the thread. I've also seen a plethora of gifs of tiger IIs that spontaneously combust when being 50cal'd.

So you're telling me that Gaijin, a russian company, deliberately and specifically made it so that practically all German tanks could be destroyed instantly by simple machine gun fire?

Yes of course.

Between the panthers, tiger II, maus, and leopard I'm pretty sure all high-tier german tanks be killed by machine gun fire, this revelation notwithstanding.
Maverick, Malyutka and Sidewinder missiles have been spotted in the CDK apparently,
As with the VK 16.01, I have no idea wether it's real.

Gaijoob just give us Cold War thunder pls
Mavericks, because tank RB isn't frustrating enough as is. I'm doubly salty because of how bad I am at planes. I am having fun with the P-61 though, people who try to attack me and come high and from my tail make me giggle because 4 12.7mms rapidly make them realize their mistake. And for those that are smart, I just hit the deck and spray backwards after that. The damn thing is a flying tank, it can just take so much punishment.
I had a surprisingly successful game last night, lol. I was in my M18 and playing that one map where there's a single cap point in a valley (near rivers and stuff) and both spawns are fairly nearby. We quickly capped the point but then a Tiger II and Tiger E decided to ruin the party. They cap, and get off the point so I can't see them. I come rolling down a hill slightly and they both come around the corner. fuck. I shoot off a token APHE shell into the Tiger IIs tracks and fucking tokyo drift around the both of them, while reloading smoke shells. I blast one smoke shell into the Tiger E since he was closest to me, keep spinning around them, and blast another smoke shell near the Tiger II. At this point I realize I may have made a mistake: I can't see shit. Luckily, my teammates were smart (moreso than me at least) and managed to kill both of the bastards while they struggled about in the smoke.
The Tiger II said some mean words in chat :v:
Smoke shells have saved my ass SO MANY times though, especially in the M18. I'm loving the Black Cat though, its made the grind at this rank range much less painful and I usually do pretty well in it (well enough that I've got all but the last camo unlocked). It prints lions, too. Not expecting to be in love with the M41 though, as much as I want to like it. Same with the T26E1. Just want the T34 that everyone was mentioning here some pages ago

Keep off Reddit for a bit. There's an influx of people installing the CDK and posting old trash while going "OMG?!?! NEW??!!!"
Missiles are from the April Fool's event - not new.

it did seem a bit incongruous
it did seem a bit incongruous
The only thing thats reasonable is the BMP-1, either for actual inclusion in the game because it is within time frame and has weapons that aren't retarded (the Malyutka, which is MCLOS like the Strv81), or for an upcoming event. All the other stuff is BS, yeah.
BMP-1 has been confirmed to be coming like, a year ago probably. So it's perfectly feasible we are getting it right now.

So, SUMMER is confirmed.
Sdkfz 234/4 (Poom w/ 75mm) and Type 65 AA (ZSU-37 x 2 on T-34)
P-43A1 and what clearly appears to be a bucket.
Great line-up. For once I'll feel no guilt if I ignore the whole thing.
The M41 has been surprisingly pleasant thus far. I guess playing the Hellcat almost exclusively prepared me for it: I'm still able to rake in 3-4 kills a match and in my first game I managed to kill two King Tigers. Seems the solution with heavies is to get a round in their turret ring, then giving them a round to the rear or back of turret to knock the crew out. And with vehicles with wonderfully soft ammo racks thats always a solution too. It hides quite well, given that its a little squat thing, so tucking it into a remote corner of the map and waiting seems to go smoothly
Looking forward to the APDS rounds, at least for the speed and penetration since the stock rounds don't work at all at longer ranges. Someone one reddit seemed to hint that APDS rounds were nerfed or something? Or that they currently aren't functional?
I should stop taking such long breaks from this game. I played a ton during planes and CBT, then during tank CBT, then disappeared for a long damn time. All of my knowledge feels woefully out of date and I have no idea what I'm doing.
I tend to play my M41 like a cromwell or comet, nuke the gunner or turret ring and proceed to ammo rack / snipe out the rest of the crew.
Its frustrating as hell for anyone on receiving end but its not like you can reliably ammo rack anything with the APDS.

APDS rounds are fine, really. They might not function against sloped armour as perfectly as they should, but they're universally better than most APCR and solid AP rounds for pure penetration value and muzzle velocity.
Knowing where the enemy's gunner and ammunition racks are is vital to making good use of APDS rounds; get a one-hit kill or cripple him long enough for you to fire again, since they're basically better APCR rounds and thus have no explosive filler.
Maybe my opinion is biased since I almost exclusively play British tanks, but APDS is really good.
Joy another grind fest, and nobody was surprised.
Easiest grind fest of any summer event.
Maybe slightly more time consuming, but if you're willing to do RB for the pretty-stars instead, what, 4-8 battles per cycle?
Oh, and it's not event-based this time.
