Takes me back, when I got -75% for the Nazi Tempest.
The A7M1 is hilariously good, still quite above average even at 4.7, and the flight model hasn't changed since it was 3.3. It's not as blatantly overpowered as before but it's still great fun, and you can pop american/russian light tanks with the 20mms on a lot of the maps to block a ground forces win
Pretty much anything can pop light tanks though.
Pretty much anything can pop light tanks though.
And if you roll reserve - 1.7 ish BR russian tree that means literally anything (Except 7.62 in most cases unless you're particularly unlucky like me).

Good thing the Japanese tend to have light tanks as ground targets instead of mediums that the Allied forces and the Germans get most of the time.
Gotta love ground pounding light tanks for that sweet RP

Other than the kamakazi memes, going against Japanese in air rb is a dream come true as well since all their ground forces are light tonks. (Again, assuming you don't get kamakazi'd as soon as a plane or two figures out you don't die instantly)
I've had a ton of fun with the Bf109 in air RB, which is a reversal from a few weeks ago when everything was going poorly.
The Bf109 becomes surprisingly agile if you abuse combat flaps, and the one I have now (forget which, no internet so can't play :c) has a wicked climb rate so even if you bleed energy you can gain it back.
It's especially fun being the surgeon against the cancer of CAS and just obliterating P47s

Can A6Ms actually?
Can A6Ms actually?
AP shells to the rear of a light tank <0.5km will get it

Same gun, same ammo, isn't it?

Can't wait for the 140HP engine, highly dynamic gameplay!
It's a Hellcat with the speed of a Jumbo and the gun of a Jagdpanther. Gonna get eaten alive by planes.
Because who hasnt played WT and thought "you know what I need? A shittier, slower Nashorn with a turret"
Well, it's the first turreted German TD, so it has novelty value.

It looks like a Pather II ate a Nashorn
Expect some crazy shit for this patch. I've heard some things. Also whispers of M56 - 6 but also having a lot to do with the number six.
Cas we also expect some "crazy shit" in terms of new mechanics?
Whens boats

No idea. We need regenerative steering badly. Did hear some saucy sauce about potential autoloaders.

Well, reload-time and turret-rotation is gonna 100% determine if this is worth a damn or not.
Finding the magic angle that the KV-1S' armor becomes marginally less useless at has been a roller coaster. Shells that normally insta-kill suddenly become mild annoyances and everything goes swell until that one dude from 16km away somehow snipes you in the rear side of the turret through a building.
Seriously though, I've been getting sniped constantly from across the map by german tanks where they would have had to have had borderline xray vision to see through the damn obstacles (example: the outer shells of destroyed buildings, the very uppermost crests of hills half way between us, forests, etc.). Did I miss the part where german tanks get 1000x zoom scopes?
As a mainly-German tanker, I've been pulling further and further back from the action due to a mix of more and more too-well-armoured Allied vehicles and more German glass cannons, so I think necessity, flat trajectories and more experience naturally makes German players just snipe more, because that's the spot where they are in the absolute lead throughout the game.

Well you certainly got the flat trajectories for sure, because I don't think I've seen a German tanker yet accidentally lowball a shot at this tier.

They're either flat, or really curved. I've actually gotten one or two howitzer no-direct-line-of-sight kills with my Brummbar. Not like getting directions from other players, but bino'ing while completely hull-down, then estimating range, shooting over a hill, and getting a kill. Really satisfying when it works :v:
Gotta love the hive mind teams:

I wish tanks had better VR implementation, but you're actively gimping yourself with it. Which is weird next to how excellent the plane version is.
WT content creators have a tendency to talk about modern tanks/planes for the past few months. The past week in particular.
If the boats to ships transition period is anything to go by, this is what we can expect of Gamescon from Gaijin.
Not to mention a lot of mechanics has been in the files for a long time.
