The fact that FPE kits are a 'Tier 2' upgrade is even worse, forcing to grind out another modification before you can even start researching it to get it.
I can't imagine the grind to just get 1 mod on any Tier 5 tank (I have yet to get my first Tier 5 tank), like 20k+ rp needed to get a repair kit is ridiculous.
When I had the stock Ferdinand, I swear it took like a week (no premium / boosters) of pain and suffering to just get the FPE, like every shot that hit the turret front seems to make shrapnel hit the engine and set it on fire.

Although the parts grind on the kv-2 isn't horribly bad it still wasn't fun for the first few matches to have every goddamn shot either kill the gun or the breach. Bonus points because if it got damaged you have to play "is this going to delete my tank" and pray to god the barrel/breach doesn't turn into an ied.
My personal favorite was having that situation with the barrel and an HE shell loaded, fired, barrel exploded and somehow managed to [I]set my engine and fuel tanks on fire[/I]. HOW? The gun was pointing forward!

Actually, the reward amount is fixed, regardless of the vehicle. For high tier tanks that are terrible stock (M46!!!!) getting the parts and FPE in some casual assault games is 10x less stressful
I remember dumping War Thunder around the time they made those awful battle rating changes like 1 or 2 years ago? This was a bit before they added the bushes to tanks for reference.

Hit or miss with some 'improvements' they have made, there was also another BR change fairly recently. I'd probably wait until they release the French air force (soon) and maybe then try it out again.
Bias-6 is ultimate cancer if you are using tanks BR 6.3+ (unless you are in Russian teams). 8.0 always get uptiered to 9.0, pretty bad situation for late tiers.

If you're #14 in the tourny then you're perfectly fine and is guaranteed to get the e-100. I got up to #41 a few hours back and should still be in the top 200 after 14 hours

Nah the circumstances currently are very different so you're perfectly fine. The vast majority of players in the top 200 have played their max amount of matches (40) and the rest are around 35. I personally have 10 matches left in case I get pushed out of the top 200. The only people that have less than 30 matches in the top 200 are ones that lost 4-6 times max in which are very few

Conq is a beast with the downside being reload speed.
Swingfire is extremely situational and requires mad hattricks to hit anything sub 100m.

HESH nerf makes playing the Centurion 10, and British 120mm tanks sad.
HESH in reality loses effectiveness past 70-75° and significantly so beyond 80°.
So Gaijin nerfed HESH at a slope of 60° which is what the ~30° angle of attack indicates, based on a single American test firing of the 106mm recoilless rifle HESH round that they somehow stole from the US army archives and translated into Cyrillic.

The Vatour II is going to be overpowered as fuck. 1100kmh jet bomber with 4x30mm DEFA (better velocity, lower ROF than ADENs), and a lower power-on stall speed than the MiG-15bis
