I agree completely on crew-locks. At least make the threshold higher, so if you suicide/leave in two matches in a row you get a lock; not instant from making a mistake in your bomb-dive or shit like that.

I bought the French Yak9t, having no other experience with Soviet planes and I'm having a pretty good time so far. There really is no feeling like shooting down bv238s with a 37mm.

I've been really enjoying zeiss optics on my german tanks, makes shooting ranged targets a blast. Having the center line gone really helps when pixel hunting at long distances.
The only real issue I found is sometimes my range finding gives me a useless number like >932 when looking across the lake on Poland.

Usually I get atleast one kill in each game I play with it, be it a (often french) bomber that I agressively fly in his blindspots and unleash those 4 mgs on him or some fighters that think I'm easy prey.
I actually managed to save a friendly fighter from like 5 planes chasing him by basically providing mg cover while we flew back to our airfield causing him to say "you literally saved my ass" and in the end we won that game as he was the only fighter of our team left to defend the bombers and he managed to kill several members of the other team while we bombed the objectives.

Once I flew my B-25 to intercept a soviet B-25, we ended up flying side by side and exchanging broadsides from our turrets, while everyone else watched. I got him because I had better speed, and I ended up aiming my turrets straight at his cockpit.

I'm a shitter who just played Arcade all the time, but it was hilarious fun diving right through a hair-ball in a gun-loaded American bomber in early ranks and watching the fighters scatter because "SUDDENLY FIDDIES".
If only AI gunners weren't complete shit in airRB.

Just started playing. Rolling around at hihg speeds as the BT-5 is hilarious. I've full frontalled ambushing tanks just because they missed and I managed to drift my canon so I had aim over them.

You should be able to get them back. Open your controls/settings, start the control wizard, select mouse+keyboard, then immediately exit the control wizard.

I once had some hilariously slow broadside-bomber battle in a DB-3B, wherein I chased down the last remaining enemy plane (who was also a bomber), and proceeded to get lucky and light him on fire.
I still do this every now and then, where if I'm bored heading back to base I chase down enemy bombers and use my turrets to harass them. its quite fun.

I just got the JU-87-D5 and I don't really know how to feel about it. It has the great 20mm cannons but it can't take a 1000kg bomb. Maybe it's because I don't have many mods for it, but I feel kind of gimped with it compared to other planes of it's teir.

Chi-Nu II is fantastic. I have a line-up with it and a talisman'd Chi-To Early and it's great for grinding. With the new Kou shell, the gun is basically the finger of god and will kill everything you hit
