Fuck I think I summoned Satan into my warthunder client. On my room's branch of my house's network if I try to hop into a wt match my ping spikes to orbital height and I get incredible ping spikes on all other pc's connected to the entire house network despite getting (at the modem) 100 down 50 up with very low ping. Even weirder is it only seems to affect games as if I do a ping or speed test mid gameplay, nothing notable comes up. I've tried restarting WT, my pc, my switch, and my router and I can't figure out wtf is going on with this thing. This issue isn't present with other games if I play those instead of WT. edit: I smell a russian bias themed update p2p meme coming on.

If the M56 (which is listed as a tank destroyer in game) gets this ability, then so should the Marders. Cromwells were used as part of armoured recon units IRL, and the AC MkII AA is weak enough against tanks that it'd be fine to give it the ability to scout
No vehicles currently available for the UK to be a "Scout" with, woo, great, fun. Gaijin really doesn't have a clue what to do, Stona said they "couldn't decide which one" to use. Hmm, I don't know, maybe the Cromwells, the Daimler, the AC II, or the many gazillion armoured cars that the UK built and used explicitly for this role and that aren't in the game for any real reason at all despite Germany and the US now having armoured cars and of course the Soviet's million milk-trucks. With the German Puma as a real combat oriented armoured car, it would make sense to add the AEC, the Staghound(s) and even the post-war 75/76/90mm armed cars or the rest of the CVR(T) family since we have the Striker.
Guys calm down, it's still a initial list. In case you havent noticed the lists exclude all tier 1 tanks. That's why there is no puma on the list for example. And Cromwell is considered a medium tank in game that's why it's not there currently. Aside from light tanks, on the list there are also air-droppable vehicles. Why do you guys always have to overreact so much.
People are allowed to discuss and criticise planned features, it's not over-reacting to give your thoughts on an announcement

I'm glad spotting is gonna give lighter tanks a serious, distinct role in the team but the implementation and selection of vehicles on the list seems sort of weak. The lack of British scouts shouldn't be too much of a problem gameplay-wise, since Brits literally always 100% of the time matchmake alongside the US, so it's not like the team will lack scouts. Still, it could be nice if they waited a bit, and added it in a patch alongside some vehicles for it. Scorpion and the AEC armoured car comes to mind as obvious picks.
I absolutely hate the idea of adding a marker over people's head in realistic.
