Being matched with 109F-4s to protect you is a cool thing
If I make the mistake of flying American and I find myself on a team that's >50% bombers, what can I do to make the most of that and maximize my chances of winning?

It's an absolute monster if you have an energy advantage.

It wouldn't even be that bad if they werent for some reason 100x more durable than a b-29, these things just shrug off full strafes of 30mm's from 262's like its nothing. Oh I just got about 40 shells impact me across the wings from one side to the other? lolnah didnt even scratch me, meanwhile the b-29 is like, someone looked at me better explode. The only way to kill one of these things is to just ram it going 800km/h from above and even then half the time it wont die.
I'm really getting tired of the random bullshit losses in "air domination". 14 mins in, I've got 16 kills, the enemy team is 99% dead, we're capturing the zone, then out of nowhere "WE SUFFAD A DEFEET" and I'm back in the hanger with another loss. Seriously, what the hell?

Jesus Christ, the bomber spam is worse than it ever was. It is borderline unplayable now, because everywhere is B-17/B-29/Tu-4 spam going into orbit, good luck. Fuck this.

There's been quite a few times where my team gets steamrolled, but managed to secure the cap at the start of the game and hold it for a long time regardless, so by the end of the game there's like 2 of us against 10 of them and we [I]should[/I] rightly lose, but end up winning due to the ticket advantage :v:

It was there to boil down the already simple and short <5 minute Arcade matches into something [B]even more [/B]blindly stupid while also making them take longer.

I also like that only when Tu-4 spam comes in did they implement this bomber limit. Not during B-17 and B-29 spam of old. :v:

The biggest bomb loads in gross weight and number of the heavy bombers aside from the thing it's copied off of. And it's covered in fucking cannons which they cannot get rid of which can actually do their job in defending the plane from attack. It is, a bomber that can defend itself and accomplish it's mission reliably. Therefore. Broken. Under Gaijin's wonderful game design logic. Because bombers are not supposed to win. And any time they start winning, something abruptly changes. See: The base mechanic. Which they know full well makes destroying the enemy airfield nearly impossible, and to a point is a completely impractical goal now, because of the excessive amount of time required by the Bombers in order to do it vs the fighters murdering everyone on one side. It still could 'technically' happen, which is an utterly loaded and deceptively way of putting it. Bordering on an outright lie. Which is apparently good enough for the idiots in game design. Just like how even though the matches last for and hour, they've done everything they can to make the damn things be decided in 20 minutes or less. And how bomber gunner AI still 'functions' because they fire their guns but never actually hit anything.

[media]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLSmuVK2iHA[/media] Sure, it's shooting bi-planes, but take any other bomber into that furball and 80% of the time your gunners will miss everything. And even stranger, sometimes (as you will see in the video) the tu4 will kill incoming planes without actually firing a single burst.

Do Realistic/Simulator battles have a hard learning curve? I'm getting bored of arcade so I've been thinking to check that part of the game out.

Maybe I will actually be able to fly them without constantly fighting 1v2+ enemies all the time.
BTW the 4 dollar tier of the e3 humble bundle comes with premium p36, m5 tank and some exclusive decals.
So anyone that has the TU-4 can you explain how well gunner go? I mean I know the guns themselves wreck shit but from what ive heard the AI gunners are just flat out better than anyone else. Seems the last patch has made my B-29's even worse in that, they flat out don't engage -anything- that isnt flying next to me in a straight line. Like they dont even track targets that are flying 5 meter from me, they just sit there and do nothing untill about 20 seconds after someone comes near me they finally boot up and decide to work
