So anyone that has the TU-4 can you explain how well gunner go? I mean I know the guns themselves wreck shit but from what ive heard the AI gunners are just flat out better than anyone else.
Just watch the video I posted. They immediately annihilate anything that gets within a kilometer.
BTW the 4 dollar tier of the e3 humble bundle comes with premium p36, m5 tank and some exclusive decals.
What bundle? I don't see it in the store.
The Humble Bundle
Ah, thanks.
I have finally gotten my first post-war jet today - the glorious DDR MiG 15bis. It's pretty fun, and not-shit from what I've heard, but damn does it turn into a brick at high speed. Korean era jet gameplay feels like a completely different game at times. And holy fuck it's difficult to land any hits with those ruski cannons.
If I own the P36 do I get any compensation for it?
Its Gaijin, so no.
If I own the P36 do I get any compensation for it?
You get to have the satisfaction of giving a deserving company your hard earned money for no real reason [editline]14th June 2016[/editline] ))))
I don't like the late era jet game play at all. Even flying in a straight line it feels like aircraft can outrun my shells :v:
Do-335 A0, A1, B2 - Change as the Fw-109 D9 series. Wing tanks will be used first followed by the (A0) fuselage tank then the main fuel tank. Feathering of the propellers has been added, this allows flight with a single engine with the documented speed. Combat flap position has been disabled.
RIP. Super-massive big change to the Wyvern(!) what do combat flaps actually do?
what do combat flaps actually do?
In short, they make your plane a bit more manouverable but you bleed energy quicker, and you don't accelerate as well. [editline]15th June 2016[/editline] Well, that's what I've always thought at least.
yo, i'm pretty good at the videogames
[vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/bsbquj.webm[/vid]
[sp]we still won lol[/sp]
Crossout is actually pretty adorable.
Hey whats that site that does the list randomizer? I got the e3 warthunder code and I want to give it away
what do combat flaps actually do?
Deploying flaps increases the camber of the wing which results in more lift at the cost of greater drag. The more you lower your flaps, the greater the effect.
In short, they make your plane a bit more manouverable but you bleed energy quicker, and you don't accelerate as well. [editline]15th June 2016[/editline] Well, that's what I've always thought at least.
I think it's as simple as, the slower you're going, the tighter your turns?
I think it's as simple as, the slower you're going, the tighter your turns?
Kind of, but what Banana said still stands. It gives an increase to drag, making you accelerate slower and lose speed quicker, but increases lift allowing you to turn tighter and stay flying at lower speeds.
I think it's as simple as, the slower you're going, the tighter your turns?
That is something that purely depends on the plane. Some of them have better control while going 400+kmph while behaving like a brick at low speeds. Take the P-51 for example.
You also get weird flaps like on the P-38 and half the Japanese shit that extends outwards and increases the overall wing area
You mean Fowler flaps?
Great so now, the 335 which is already slugish as hell and has issues pulling out of high speed dives will now perform even worse fucking why
"Combat flaps are for turn fighting" is what I've been going with.
Is there any way at all to switch from tank to plane or vice versa without just killing yourself and losing all your points? It seems like the kind of thing that you should be able to do.
I wish there was just a "combined warfare" gamemode where you can spawn in as planes or tanks. You would be locked to whatever vehicle you searched for the battle with (like in air RB), but once you die you can spend spawn points on any vehicle (like ground RB). Then, since you're locked to a specific vehicle when searching, the teams can be balanced with even amounts of planes and tanks at the start.
Is there any way at all to switch from tank to plane or vice versa without just killing yourself and losing all your points? Just ground out the T-44-100 and M36 Jackson in one night with Prem and a lucky streak. After 8 hours, fucking kill me.
"Combat flaps are for turn fighting" is what I've been going with.
There's a bit more of an art to it than that 'cause they cause you to bleed speed. Generally you want to pop them to pull extra lead if it'll put you on target, but if you keep them open during multiple rotations it won't work so well
