Can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong for todays Operation summer achievement for Air Battles? I've tried it against both ground vehicles and players, but neither have got me it after taking out 3 in 1 life.
On topic with the Ram. [t]http://i.imgur.com/tILlKvc.jpg[/t]
On topic with the Ram. [t]http://i.imgur.com/tILlKvc.jpg[/t]
Damn, at first I was like "Aw, poor Churchill is going to be the fat kid at PE". And then Ram happened. I do wish somehow we could end up with a bunch of tank enthusiasts getting together and doing Tank Races.
Whap plane have you been using?
Just some tier 2/3 American ones. Does it have to be certain planes? I can't see anything about that in the description.
Just some tier 2/3 American ones. Does it have to be certain planes? [editline]29th July 2016[/editline] Also, protip: stafing AAA also counts, in tank RB.

The 29th's says it has to be 3-5 but there's nothing about that for the one on the 28th.
They probably forgot to write it in. small family company)) It's better to play safe and go with those tiers since every other task needs you to be tier 3-5.

It's so much fun making swiss cheese out of tanks with the MK103s.
IS-3 Get. Stalin will ride again
IS-3 Get. Stalin will ride again
I have gotten myself a 10.5 King Tiger. I regret spending every single silver lion on this thing. It's terrible.

Pretty disappointing patch.
Pretty disappointing patch.
I dunno, crew replenishment (though could be done way better) is a step in the right direction, and M60A1 is a welcome addition. Though the complete lack of new BR tier is bad, plus they still haven't said anything about fixing Sheridan's road speed.
Fucking gajiggles removed ALL my flag decals from ALL my vehicles. RIP Jew truck [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/30716172586335279/41C6680628B59BEF31A9EEF447A445A7E9DDF516/[/t] RIP every Israeli flag on all my German vehicles
Pretty disappointing patch.
According to the devs they only intended to put in the Grant I, Kv-220, etc, but they had some content finished so they polished it up and bundled it as an in-between patch. The next one is meant to be much bigger and not completely distant
Are there any clues to the next patch being more than just new tanks/planes that nobody has the time to grind for?
Ship related stuff keeps appearing in the game files and on dev servers
Ship related stuff keeps appearing in the game files and on dev servers
Also more files concerning World War mode, from what I've heard. On an unrelated note, 16th plane task GET(tanks stuck at 14 because fuck Rapid Fire).
Ram II is a good tank, especially for like £6 Accelerates nicely, and turns on the spot well. Brake-turning is a bit wonky though. Armour is very good in places, excellent with angling, point your right corner (turn the tank left) and angle relatively hard because you have 60mm side plates and you can bounce guns like the medium 75 on the PzIV/StuG, or the Marder's 76. The transmission front is a bit of a weak point (most won't shoot this) and there's a point on the turret where the two 38mm plates don't overlap properly (mainly an issue with SPAAG spam, it's quite small). Gun is a 6pdr Mk.3 which everyone already knows, but the reload time on a completely fresh crew is below 6 seconds. With the silver qualification, maxed loading, and leadership, you can get it down to 4, which is obscene Works best on city maps where it can get to close range and doesn't have to deal with too many hills. Play it as a kind of spearhead tank, go very aggressive, and against the right line-up you can fend off multiple tanks at once with your super fast reload. If you can go hull down, that's pretty helpful, as the transmission is the easiest thing to shoot, but don't sit and snipe, it's not the M10. Think of it as a better Matilda, or faster Churchill
So the tail gun for the he-111 h-6 was added in the patch, which I didn't even notice for a couple of games (http://imgur.com/a/0XM42) I'm assuming they made it gunner controlled since it'd be hard to aim when flying in pilot view. Barely affects the fire arcs, but at least it balances the 7.92 peashooters the thing has.

Any tips for learning how to not suck ass as a pilot in realistic battles?
Pick your fights, don't go into clusterfucks of enemies and allies, contain your energy as best as possible, better be overly cautious than not. Always pick a target where you have the altitude advantage, never go head-on, and learn the strengths and weaknesses of whatever you're flying.
