M134 only has like 6.7mm of penetration. It isn't going to be a tank killer like the Kugel and Russian SPAA's.
Only with AP-I
The APDS round it's difficult to find stats for, but it's both heavier and travels faster than the Whirbelwind's HVAP shells, so we can assume it'll penetrate better than that

In which case I feel sorry for anyone who grinds 380k RP for a vehicle that can't go through a Leo's side
Made another metal slug rebel skin, because why not.

Yeah, pretty close. I was thinking about doing either the f7f or one of the twin engined Japanese planes though because I don't want to remove my XP-50s oversized decals. :v:
In War Thunder, we present the late prototype versions of the Su-6 with an M-71F engine and a seat for a gunner/radio operator. The Su-6 will fly much like the Il-2, but has a higher speed and maneuverability, better armour and a more powerful rocket load. The aircraft's speed at low altitude exceeds 480 km/h, and at high altitude it can reach 510 km/h – a true sky racer compared to the slow and clumsy Il-2.
:wow:
so basically an IL-2-37 but with more armor, bomb capacity, and an engine that wasnt taken off of a lawn mower

So... a Russian lawn mower?
Thank god. I was basically convinced that the Russian assault line was designed specifically to get worse with every new plane.
Im stuck on the il2 there and its fookin awful man. No particularly useful weaponry for its class and the thing flies like a fat man runs.
the early IL-2s are actually pretty good because the VYa-23 can actually penetrate tank armor at those ranks and the armor can actually protect it from ground fire
when you get to stuff like the IL-2-37 they just slap more shit on there without improving engine power and the performance drops like a fucking rock
then you have the IL-10 which has noodledood cannons which blow against armored targets AND it doesnt even have a decent bomb/rocket load.
[editline]5th September 2016[/editline]
plus the fighter aircraft that the later Il-2s and Il-10 see can murder it essentially instantly, unlike the earlier Il-2s.

Those are 37mms, actually :v:
Oh. Well then, IS the IL-2-37 without an asthmatic flight-model.
Look at long as it gives russia something to compete with the british rocket carriers its good comrade)))
Now we just need the american 50mm pbj to not suck and every nation will have somesort of decent ground attack aircraft in terms of actual ground attack.
I just want to know more about that Fv4202 that was found in the files, pretty sure that had the 20pdr rather than the L7. Sounds like premium material.
The SU-6 is going to be crazy if Gaijin is telling the truth with it's 510kmh max level flight speed, of course not on the tier of the Ki-44-II, but as far as ground attackers go mid tier tanks should be very afraid.
It reminds me of a very beefed up AD-2 if the AD-2 was at a proper BR.
If they've gone and modelled the M-71F engine then there's no reason why they can't go and model the sequel plane

1 × 7.62 mm ShKAS in lower turret

I tried out some tanks:

Gaijin you useless cunts. This map size DOES NOT WORK.
Cant even get a dicker half way across without being flanked.
Players just rush each others spawns and its a normal arcade game again.

That map in particular in my experience (however limited) tends to have that issue. One time I literally had all of my tanks cleaned out before I could do anything because a few guys were camping behind our spawn.

A premium, but it'll be worse than the P-47D in most ways as a 1945 plane so you don't want it much anyhow

Depending on the BR, it could be pretty nasty with 2x 20mms and 2x 30mms
unfortunately since it's an army project it will probably have the worthless Ho-5s for the 20mms

One of the few planes I actually look forward to and it's a premium as usual.
Happened with the 40mm ki-44, happened with the Sturmpanzer, now it's happening to the Ki-87.
Whatever I'll just work overtime the next 3 months to pay it off :cry::cry:

Quite the looker though. Damn. Though I wonder if it can be used for ground attack with those 30mms. HE seems to be much more effective at taking out tanks than AP since the latest round of updates.

oh -no-
Man, I remember when this game was all just about shooting down biplanes in my MiG-15
Man, taking a swipe at armored warfare while they're at it.
So how long until we get Era VI in planes and cold war thunder fully begins?
I really just want them to split it off into a separate game so I don't have to grind my way up or buy a pack to play with that era of vehicles but they probably don't want to split up the user base or make everyone start from scratch in terms of progress
