Gaijin has said nothing against it and there are a quite the handful to choose from seeing as Gaijin no longer seems to care about cut off date as long as the vehicles don't have certain things like fire and forget A2A missiles or composite armor.
Helicopters might be fun for J-catch shenanigans, dunno how you would tier them though

The Flak-88 could be pretty cancerous depending on what rank it's at, and I would not be surprised if it's the lowest ranked vehicle that gets an 88.

Most WW1 tanks were 'Male' with a mostly cannon armament' or 'female' with mostly MG. The Independant was a 'hermaphrodite' with both.

Yeah those are protective armor sleeves for the machine gun barrels, the Australians used a similar concept with the hull machine gun on the Sentinel.

I know that they're mg turrets (see: T-28), but why is it that the barrel holes (aka those bullet spewing tunnels) are basically a 1mm depression in the shielding with no actual barrel behind it?
Fv4202 sits at 6.0 despite basically being the testbed for Chieftain technology, why's it at 6.0? It also lacks the APDS round for the 20pdr.
Couldn't they just put the Centurion Mk I or II for 5.7-6.0 brits? Makes a lot more sense.

It's not that the idea didn't take off, it's because most AFVs don't need them - the armoured housings are to protect the vulnerable water-jacket surrounding the barrel of the water-cooled MGs, not to protect the gun itself.

Not intended to be a combat vehicle, as far as I'm aware, weird vehicle to add in general, doesn't really fill any holes that couldn't be better filled by something like the A45
