Yup, both have the Type 3 75mm. Which actually seems like a pretty OK gun for lower tiers Plus the standard fuckmassive APHE charge.
Yeah, but all nipnop tanks have historically terrible armor, so I imagine the whole tree regardless of class line is going to be glass cannon to the max. Remember that the Japanese army was horribly underfunded during the war, Navy got most of the military funding and it showed. Origami tank armor, folded over 1,000 times.
90mm of pen at 100 m is weak as fuck, that's comparable to the German long 50mm :v: Granted you will nuke anything when you penetrate with a filler like this. I guess I've been spoiled by the fantastic German 75s
Plus the standard fuckmassive APHE charge.
But it's not really that massive.
Its armor-piercing high explosive charge contains twice as much TNT-equivalent explosive material than the armor-piercing shells of the infamous Marder III.
That's like, 60/70g (depending which Marder III they mean), which is about the same as the 75mm M3 GMC and then is nothing compared to the SU-76 and its actually-massive 150g.

I'm surprised you guys missed this (or at least about posting it on here): BOMBER COCKPITS! http://warthunder.com/en/news/4375-development-major-updates-for-aircraft-en/ 3D View: https://roundme.com/embed/95326/242861 Bad news is that they aren't quite as nice as regular cockpits. Most are somewhat lacking in texture quality and a few other areas due to being apparently auto generated based off of cockpit photography as opposed to being modeled by hand. (Or at least, that's what I think they meant). So apparently the BV-238 will break the sound barrier in a flat spin on its back?

Japanese pre-order tanks are up [t]https://static.warthunder.com/upload/image/!%202016%20NEWS/November/b9_842x204_6a0c3c2d0da7afed96855b9458f7b606.jpg[/t] http://warthunder.com/en/news/4379-japanese-pre-order-packs-en/ Chi-Ha with a 120mm naval gun, or a boring Tiger E. Eeeeeh...
Fuck, I was really hoping the 120mm Chi-ha wasnt going to be a premium

I don't understand. Half of their tank list is going to be cold war era stuff or something, which will only make the grind longer, and harder. They're killing their own game by adding more, and more, without actually fixing the core.

All these lovely, juicy tanks I'm never gonna bother grinding up for. Tbh they should just split the community at this point and add a Cold war era tree, cutoff date of '45 for all WW2 stuff and everything produced after to be its own separate tree you can start at whenever.
Honestly, peak fun is at rank 3, maybe early rank 4 anyway. The cold war tank stuff is cool but seriously isnt worth the grind at all

Besides there are going to be plenty more vehicles that aren't being covered by devblogs..

All the crazy features they add to super high tier stuff is interesting but nobody is going to play it when it takes hundreds of hours to get there. Just make Cold War Thunder already.

Besides there are going to be plenty more vehicles that aren't being covered by devblogs..
Oh no, I realize that, but it's still the same thing. The grind after you reach Tier 2-3 is absolutely horrible if you do not have premium. Toward ground vehicles, anyway. Even if you do have premium, the rewards are hideously low. I could look at maybe, maybe 8-10k RP if I do REALLY well in a round, capture flags, kill 4-8 vehicles. And that's just at tier 3, with a premium vehicle.. With premium over top of that, and a Talisman.. And that's just toward one vehicle, while most vehicles cost upward of 120k. Then you go further, and that's 260k? I think? Last I remember anyway. That's a whole fuckload of matches and frustration to deal with to unlock one tank.. Specially when you need to unlock 6 in one tier to get to the other.....
I play without premium so I try not to think about the grind, just try to enjoy what I have. Half the time I don't even take out new unlocks the same week because all they do is screw my lineup BR.
I keep losing games which is draining my silver lions Guess I gotta go back to Tier 1 to farm Silver lions....
Why did they load german tanks down with so many tons of paper mache? Is this supposed to be armor?
My glue-sniffing ISP capped my already painfully slow internet at 50 kbps. Combine that with warthunders near daily 200 - 300 mb patches.. They're making it really hard to get my daily sucker-crates. :suicide:
Why did they load german tanks down with so many tons of paper mache? Is this supposed to be armor?
we found secret documents in forgotten ruins saying that all nazi fascist armor was made of paper and soap tovarish, is accurate ))))))))))))))))
