The way this has been done seems like it's just outright greed rather than doing it in a way best for the game. Doing it through their own crowdfunding site, pretty much no information about the game, backer packages that [I]don't come with the game[/I], Saying "we're gonna change things!" and not saying how in any way, part of the FAQ that just copies directly from the main text, the rewards that hint at there being microtransactions (infact there definitely is based on the FAQ, so it'll probably be just as bad as War Thunder is in that regard) in it already, insanely high stretch goal requirements, doing crowdfunding in the first place when War Thunder seems to be raking in money and the game will supposedly release before the end of 2017 so it must be quite far along already so why does it need the money? ....this is the entirely wrong way to do crowdfunding.
The worst part of it all? [B]This isn't even a single game, you have to buy a separate game for each campaign[/B]:

Except it is, Germany have the best 6.7 setup and King Tiger's apart of that reason. Only one US tank can actually stand toe to toe at it in 6.7 and that's sadly a premium.
King Tiger and especially the Jagdtiger can point and click anywhere on the Pershing(except mantlet) to destroy it. Pershing also has the problem of being underpowered, so it's not like it can easily outflank and take positions.
I think the problem for america is the light tanks (and td's kind of) are the only ones that can reliably deal with german tanks at 6.7 leaving them with a bunch of glass cannons and thats about it, it isn't a problem for me but I can see it leaving a bad taste in some peoples mouths.
Though that problem exists for them when fighting russian heavies as well.
