Even if you look at the description of the "3 wins in a row" task, it's ticked off.
I really want to participate but my wife's family is here for a week so I guess I'll have to buy the events I miss until they leave, hope it's not too expensive.

999 eagles per trophy, 9990 total for either all tank or aircraft ones.
Not affordable IN THE SLIGHTEST. I think they might go down with the prices like they did in summer.
At least you have 2 days per trophy. You can miss out two stages and still get all the premiums.

yeah you right, I just launched it again and now day 1 is "1 of 3" complete all of a sudden

IT appears in the store after a stage starts.
We're at day 2, so it's still first stage.
Tommorow starts stage 2.

It's so fun destroying T-34s with guns that can reliably penetrate.

Yeah, one of my sister in law's family is staying in my office but I was able to sneak on and try the mission on air and HOLY FUCK, i tried to catch up in my shitty tier I Russian plane as it literally rained superior BF 109s, our entire formation was decimated in mintues.
Since the battles and stages seem to be chronological the shoes will soon be on the other feet as I leg drop pathers in T-34-85s.

So, right after 1.65, gaijin apparently took the fucking audacity, to set up some gaijin launcher shit, and WT launcher, to fucking start up, the moment i get in windows.
How do i disable that?! I already tried msconfig, but shit seems to turn itself right back on.
Open up 'Run' and enter in 'msconfig', allows you to control what programs run on start.
But tovarish, if war thunder is of launch on startup then player of having no choice but to launch game???
Who even thought this wouldn't annoy like, everyone.

Tanks are actually pretty enjoyable right now because all my games so far have consistently been axis vs allies which means for the most part fighting tanks that your tank was actually designed to fight.

Could it be that it automatically checks your mods folder for suspicious stuff since it always runs when the game runs?

Since the 22nd Gaijin has been forcing the launcher to run when you run aces.exe if [I]any[/I] of your files are modified, so you had to work around it by installing it just before the game started loading [I]each time[/I] you start the game.
This is excellent news.
PS: this sound mod is super good, highly recommend it to everyone.
Never really fucked with mods on WT, aside from the sound mod any good mods you guys recommend?

Bonus ducks because the gajin specific launcher which hides quietly in my icon tray actually causes massive FPS drops in certain games of mine. It was so bad before I realized it was causing it that I was getting 2-5 FPS in gmod of all fucking games and I thought I fried my GPU from overclocking.

I'm not cut-out for the grind, only a few hours in and I've already had enough. And all the tasks are the same for every day, maybe I could do it if I could turn my brain off and just mindlessly play. As for now, the Sturmvogel is just a dream
Thankfully, this event is pretty easy.
Literally the only concern you can have is spending couple of hours every two days.
15/20 kills in RB, 3 battles with 2017 or more score and 3 wins in a row(the last one is much easier than it seems, if you are about to lose just switch to another type of vehicle to not ruin your streak).

As far as I am aware, the game seems to track planes and tanks separately for the streaks.
So if you have 2 wins in tanks, but the next match seems to end in a loss, you hop into a plane to not break your streak.
Worked for me during SUMMER, and does now too.
Same deal with getting the 2017 score, just do 2 aircraft and you can get it easy, then just swap to a tank before the rounds over
Its idiotic how hard it is to get that score in tanks only
