Also, the point of the Type 60 video from earlier wasn't to show off the "ha ha look at these unaware slavs I'm killing", but to point out that almost every kill required a double tap and that little poot and scoot montage would've ended with the first guy if I was in the Scorpion and the first shot went "non-penetration ))" You can call it a gimmick and the ammo count bites, but at least it's a gimmick that actually functions properly and isn't rife with bugs and 60s+ reloads with dead crew ala Chi-Ri II.

The Type 60 is great. The ammo choices are both great; HESH utterly disables people and the HEAT beam cuts from one end of a T-44 to the other. [B]That said,[/B] the M56 Scorpion does everything it does better, with the sole exception being the twin guns and slightly more armor (not really) on the Type 60 SPRR. They play almost identical at the same BR. The other, hidden benefit of the Type 60 is that you play with 6.7 Germany so you're guaranteed more wins because of how disgustingly stacked that BR is for Germany in RB. The downside is, flanks are going to be packed with allies escaping the Tiger II horde and you might even run into cheeky Scorpions out in weird places with you. But, as with the Scorpion, many of your games are going to end with some obscured/unrendered/cheeky dot clicking on you once when you're trying to set up and then it's back to hanger - I'm impressed I even have a 1:1 in it, grinding through stock in RB.
All in all, really loving it. The ST-As, and more so the Type 61, exist purely as a deadwall of mediocre Pershing/Patton impersonators before you get your new Nipponese Leopards, so I'm not powering through that yet.
Also, Brummbar hella fun. Best purchase of the sales.

I've used enough HESH (aka the primary ammo I use with anything that has it typically) to know I'd rather HEAT with so few rounds. HESH gets stuck if you hit the back of a tank and on all kinds of greeble, and T-44-100s with their space plates are immune if you hit from the side too low. HEAT, on the other hand, I've hit the back of an IS-3 with because I aimed too low, and the meme-beam passed all the way to the front - taking out everyone in the turret and the driver.
HESH is great, and ironically works the best when you're facing some poor sod frontally, but I'd rather HEAT since I'm showing up in all kinds of goofy places. Usually from the side or ass. Also, this HEAT is free, unlike the Leopard's.
If it didn't load ammo in doubles/oddly, and I could have my second gun firing purely HESH while the first uses HEAT, I would in a heartbeat.
yeah the HESH is harder to use but the results are so much better than HEAT if you [I]do[/I] know how to use it well, even against the scary tanks with skirts.
the only tank i've had legit issues using HESH on so far is tortoise, but so few people play them it's kinda irrelevant.
The Ki-21 is a premium that has only like a half of the modifications researched, and the LVT isn't even a premium vehicle :v:

I know the Type 62 is going to be tier IV but it really depends on what BR it's set at that will determine if it's any good, I'm afraid they'll set it at too high a BR and it'll be fucking worthless... Or they'll pull a KV-220 and it'll be WAAAAAY fucking undertiered.
If the gun gets HEAT-FS then I can see it being a 6.7 tank.

It's an ambush self-propelled gun and worked great in real world scenarios.
Y'know, the things War Thunder happens to be completely removed from. I mean it still works if you find a good sneaky, long-sighted place in RB/SB and don't mind never moving ever, but taking it out in AB is asking for trouble.
