The good news is, the 88 can pen almost everything it sees frontally with the exception being at BR 7.3+ USSR tanks. And new players can't get bushes as easily.
The bad news is, bushes aren't likely to go away ever and Gaijin won't admit they made a mistake and refund everyone the GE.

They won't even admit first-day buyers having [B]six of each bush[/B] is a problem
But I supported the game early so I deserve to win
I love my six bushes, so so much. Especially since they become white in snow environments, working as a makeshift frontal snow camouflage until you can grind out the kills for the real deal.
Gajin wasn't terribly subtle with some of the sudden RP walls in a number of vehicle lines.
Looking at you USSR Heavy tank line / Bomber line.

Long 88 can penetrate every vehicle in the game frontally. You have to be pretty close range to some of them and hit very specific spots but it can do it

I have that happen alot as well, I have a terrible connection to the game servers because straya so I've always assumed it was because of packet loss doing the old WoT thing where I tell it to fire but the server thinks im aiming differently than my pc does.

I was thinking getting working on the 1st TD tree, get enough cash for the the Panther A, replace one of the Tiger 1s with it, or maybe buy another garage slot for it. Eventual goal would be the Leopards and the damn rocket tank.

Jagdpanther is so underrated its not even funny, use the terrain to angle back the front plate just a wee bit more and laugh the Russian vodka bottles back to the distillery.
Forward mobility is great too ofc. You can even give APDS a run for its money.

If you're trying to just get further to end-game,
1. Go down the armored TD line and get the [B]Jagdpanther [/B](you can actually stop after that too.)
2. Go down the medium line and use any Panthers you want. Leads to the Leopards which are your de facto MBT end-game.
3. Grab the [B]Tiger II H[/B] before the [B]Panther II[/B].

Fyi, after the Dicker Max is the Nashorn which has pretty shit depression but after that is the Emil which has near identical depression to the Dicker Max.

Granted, that line leads to the Rakjagdpanzer 2 and HOT, both of which are kinda fun. But to do 8.0, you NEED the Leopards. Everything else is secondary.
Get Maus only if you intend to play it in AB. It's a joke in RB outside of one or two closed-in city maps.
