A birb says, allegedly, the FV 4005 Stage II was suppose to have a 3-round loading assist mechanism like the Chi-Ri II. It also has only 12 rounds of ammo max. 14mm armor all around on the turret. A perforated floor plate on the back of the turret bustle meaning even a GaZ 4M could bounce 7.62mm up through it. The recoil without the ass spade is considered quite violent. That said, it's a FUCKING 76kg HESH WARHEAD. Expect something like 250-460mm of penetration. It will be a delete button.

That said, it seems that they have a few stats incorrect. Should have a slightly higher top speed and slightly less horsepower (640) Also having seen some of the documents of 183mm trials, it's an anti-everything round

I know nothing for the Stage II beyond what the guy said. I saw some internal pictures, and there was nothing on the breech, but clear holes/brackets like something use to be. Do you have any documents on the 183mm HESH? I couldn't find anything at all except that the HE fired by the 7.2 inch artillery (ie the gun it was based on, same as 155mm Long Tom -> T30's gun) had something like 28lbs of filler.

The autoloader couldn't fit inside the stage 2 turret. I'm away from my computer, by I have an interesting document on the firing off rounds in that tank. Here's the turret underside. The armoured turret is basically "because we can" and would be constructed on the mindset that it can bounce artillery fragments and 7.62 rounds fired at range. It is not very thick, even at the front, but your crewmen aren't going to get killed by co-axials; merely 122mm APHEBC rounds and 210mm rockets instead.
what the fuck has 6.7 become. Decided to see if I could grind out the good ammo on the type-62 so I found myself a good vantage point before the enemy team arrived. I just watched 11 t-29's roll over the hill and completely demolish my entire team in a matter of minutes, only about 4 people had tiger 2's on my team and they were instantly vaporized. Next game its the exact polar opposite.
what the fuck has 6.7 become.
My only enjoyment in those is counting the premiums and trying to do the mental math of how much Gaijin got funded by the players and their vehicles just in a single match. I've seen upwards of $400 before (mostly a team of entirely Strv 81s and T29s, where the UKs kept respawning in Wyverns.)

Have the devs fixed the "playing on low setting is a massive advantage" issue yet?
I don't blame anyone for missing this. Pretty unexciting. I think on ultra-low settings you get some oppressive fog, no idea if they scrubbed it back out. But, if you're asking "using generic medium/high settings am I still at a disadvantage outside of Arcade versus someone who dragged grass/vegetation/LOD to 0 on everything?" then the answer is still yes. While there's an option to turn off grass when using the gunsight now, there's definitely a distinct advantage for having vegitation/LOD low enough to make out dots 2km away in third person.

Maybe with all these bomber announcements we'll get the He-177.

I still don't get what i'm doing wrong with the Tiger, T-34's easily one shot my angled front armor, while I can pound 5 shells into them, 2 in front, 2 in side, one on barrel, and fuck all happens. Most hilarious moment I had was when a T-34 shot my side as we were both aiming directly at eachother, and the shell makes a 90 degree turn into my compartment and blows it up. Right now it feels like aerial battles is the only thing that works as it should.

By the time you're fighting 76.2mm Americans and 85mm USSR, your armor is already ineffective at close range. It's not KRUPPSTAHL, it's big flat shitty 102mm thick plates. The turret fares a little better, but is a puzzle box of THICC and thin armor. If you can keep it hull down somehow, you should. And if you're not uptiered, you should load up the less pen, more filler round instead because it still has plenty of penetration for what you fight. For basically anything you're fighting outside of said uptiers, just toss APHE in center-of-crew-mass and it should be over. Jumbos are tricky, you might need the better shell to get through the turret face, or needle a round in the MG port, or just be a shit and shoot behind the tracks into the 30mm side plates if you can manage. But hey, don't worry because when you get to the Tiger II H, you're suddenly unkillable frontally to anything that doesn't now have an American 105, USSR 100/122, or UK 20 pounder (or super APCR/APDS ammo for a prior gun and lol @ APCR) and it will still take them forever to keep clicking on your turret face all day. The downside is you're still German and your teammates around this BR are going to undergo violent lobotomies so good luck on the winning.
The Tiger I isn't a magic hollywood murder box like common belief holds.
Well, I literally try and angle my armor all the way up to 135mm or more, but I still get one shotted by T-34s sitting a kilometer or more away, I don't even know how the fuck I get spotted, but there you go. Even going up against M18 GMC I bounced a shell off flat armor, he slowly turned around and punched a hole through about 120mm angled armor, blowing my ammo rack despite the fact I only carry about 35 shells. Likewise going against a Achilles, I bounched a shell off the very edge of his open top armor, he one shotted me by hitting my front armor, sitting about 1km away. I can hold my own in aerial, My dear Ju-88 A4 can easily rip anything apart, but it seems the hammer of Thor himself smacks my tanks around, no matter who I go up against. Likewise I find the tip to use buildings to cover your flanks or rear, while also being told the Tiger only should act as a sniper to be hilarious. And sure, out of the 50 rounds or so i've played with it, sniping has netted me about 3 - 5 kills in RB, so I guess there is a point to that suggestion, but it seems no matter how hard I angle, where I am or anything, it's one shot and lights out, and I can sit there all day and my shells just bounce. Hell, i've even been killed by a one shot by a M24.
I've underappreciated low-profile tanks (and good decoration), I just shot a Tiger while a Japanse variant of idk what american tank it was just behind me, not noticing a thing and just driving off
Absolutely magic is the collection of fucking morons always ending up on the same team with you. Just activated a 500% RP bonus? Not a problem! Because all these fucking shits all rush for one fucking point, completely neglecting the two other points, one of with i am dumb enough to try and capture myself, because what am i thinking "We should at least try to win this!" Ahha- OH! Me and my sidekick NotATotalFuckingIdiot gets flanked within one minute flat, because nooobody on my team is busy trying use their fucking brain TRYING TO WIN AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ... Why do none of the ground forces maps ever show up for air battles? Like they clearly have an area built up that's big enough for air battles which you can see when you spawn in a plane, but if you actually try to play air RB it's nothing but Ruhr, Kuban, Berlin, and Saipan.
Same issue as WoT. It's overtiered to fight vehicles that make its armor be paper. No 75mm Shermans for you.
It's not made for it's armor to be paper, the armor works just fine and has some fucking nightmare overlaps that eat shells if you dare click near the driver port or ball MG. It's an issue of the BR compression being kinda shitty (Tiger and King Tiger H are in the same range, and II P is only 0.7BR away from I H because :downs: ) coupled with the fact that 102mm armor even at some saucy angles isn't going to resolute and undeddable against an American 76 or Russian 85. Don't you dare slide towards "historical matchmaking" or I'll demand some 1939 KVs shitting all over Czech rivetboxes and Germans without a long 75 yet on the Panzer IV. But also because it's a trashy idea and will be back and forth "nation x is best" @ each few month interval until the Cold War when suddenly the Soviet national anthem intensifies enough to cause bleeding. Unrelated: The ST-A got the same zoom as the Leopard (and ST-B and Type 74) now for some reason and it's fucking disgusting. But the Type 61 didn't get it which is even more disgusting. [t]http://i.imgur.com/QUbx7U6.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/be9qyLc.jpg[/t]
Not saying the Tiger's armor is bad. It definitely can bounce shit. It's just that it's not going to meet only masses of T-34s or Shermans like history nerds would want it to. It is tiered to be somewhat balanced.
What stalinwood tanks are you people coming across? Every time I roll <insert tier 2/3 t34 variant here> either the fucker does a matrix and bends his shot straight through my ball gunner/turret ring/coxial port like the thing has a steering wheel or presses control+alt+pen and goes straight through my frontal, hits my driver's new steel kneecaps, detonates on said kneecaps, and kills everyone.

Just had a T-40 one shot one of my MG ports, supposedly it's 135mm and I was angled. I likewise shot but it magically disappeared. I am done with this stupid groundforces, it's clear something is broken, or at the very least, BR needs to get changed completely.

Looks like the key to proper gun stabilisation is going to be using lower gears while in cruise control mode.
