but I forgot that one of the weapons I was to receive was the Vas R-2 'sword'
A gun that is identical in stats to the N-tec. Whoops.

The game gets pretty annoying if you can't communicate to teammates,

(Rank 65 I don't really play missions due to lack of team and that none of my friends can even run the game)

you can always get a refund;
anything bought in the last 72 hours if you send a support ticket about it can refund your G1C so you can get a different weapon.

also by the way other reskins you'll be getting are the HVR, OCA, PMG, a silenced scout and such

Suppressed Tutorial log messages to reduce unnecessary log spam.

Improved the deformation of the lower part of the Parka, when it is worn with chest rigs.

So I have been wondering about APB for quite awhile. I'm really drawn to all of the customization and such, but I'd like to know from you guys, how approachable is this game? Is it tough to start out, is it P2W, is it even any good?

It's not P2W however the current dev team (speaking of the community manager) is corrupt if you ask me. I personally dont think of returning til she gets fired. That being said you should have a decent intel rig in order to get decent frames.

Honestly it just depends. The game can be a real pain in the dick, but at the same time it is ridiculously fun. It can be a bit tough to start out, but If you start playing do the new remapped tutorial (it will help you and give you a decent gun). After you do the tutorial i would focus on learning how to use the weapons (They all function radically different) and find one you like and just practice with it. While doing this learn the maps and how to complete objectives. Just when you start playing, make sure you don't just click the auto-join district button and actually look at the server individually and join a bronze one so you'll go against new players. A lot of the time the matchmaking system is fucked and it will throw bronzes against gold players.

As for the P2W, some will say yes, some will say no. I say no, a lot of the guns from Arma's are functionally identical to regular weapons that can be obtained in the game from contacts. There are a few Armas guns that functional completely different and could be consider overpowered. But honestly, I own a shit ton of armas and jokerticket guns and i can easily tell you some of the best rounds i do are with guns that function the same as the contact weapons.

You'll run in to some really sketchy people who are hacking from time to time, but they've been getting banned pretty quickly as of lately. If you think they hack just do /report (Playername)

It's a fun game and has been getting progressively better over the past few months. The population has even risen a bit from the new fair fight patch.

I believe Tiggs was in a district I was in and was watching him. I got put against him as opp with my group and we where being griefed by his watchers/stream snipers but after Tiggs showed up the greifers kinda just started to vanish. I kinda hate it when a GM shows up because everyone starts acting stupid in /d and tiggs ended up muting a few people for a while. Even a few threats of bans got thrown around.

I've never had as much fun as with this car. My current favorite thing to do between missions is finding Crims who are looting shops, parking the van close enough so they can read the text and /yelling from inside the van [i]YOU BETTER STOP THIS CRIM SHIT RIGHT NOW[/i] and [i]I SWEAR TO GOD DON'T MAKE ME COME OUT THERE[/i]. Not witnessing into missions, just watching them.

So far I've had seven Crims stop, stare, shoot at my car and run away on foot or in a different car.

lol me and my clan have versed Summit1G at least 3 times these two weeks and I have to say no one has ever gotten banned through the rest of those days, even those who completely man handled Summit.

All just a hoax to stirr up the community into thinking hackers got falsely banned.
