doesn't the new shotgun do 850 damage, much like the pre-nerf JG?
To comment on this further; it does 100% health damage, 20% stamina damage and roughly 30% on impact.
100%? If it 1hits fragile players then it's got to be 85%
The entire health damage stat bar is full.
The entire health damage stat bar is full.
how can you go off of stat bars in 2015
Because the database isn't updated? Laziness? Busy playing the game? [editline]26th October 2015[/editline] Either way it obliterates people.
I'm surprised this thread is still around. And active. I haven't played in 10 months, did anything interesting happen? What about the performance? I remember I stopped because the performance was so bad my friend could not enjoy it, and if I have no friend to play with, then I ain't playin' this solo.
It's still shitty performance-wise, the new engine update promises better optimization claims G1 however it has been delayed over and over.
So appareantly the new clothing is the pinnacle of laziness from G1; - Lower poly than shown in renders - Little to none separate items - Detailed accessories are pasted on textures rather than actual models - One of the masks is not compatible with any type of balaclavas - Various mesh issues
Do people still play this? Not trying to bash anyone or anything, I'm genuinely curious because I swear every time I login to the game it feels cheap. EDIT: I also love the fact that haven't given any updates on the console versions which I'm skeptical 'bout.
Yes people still play this. The amount of fresh players is exceedingly low though so you usually face the same groups of regulars. As for consoles, the console versions were supposed to launch alongside the engine update which has been delayed several times now. [editline]29th October 2015[/editline]
So have they/are they adding any new content that isn't exclusive to ARMAS and isn't just shitty zero effort event items?
None so far.
So I decided to start playing again since I don't have enough time to get into new games til the midterms end. If anyone's fancy playing just hit me up on Steam.
Do you play on Citadel? I'm always up for some crim/enf-bashing.
Do you play on Citadel? I'm always up for some crim/enf-bashing.
Yeah I'm on Citadel, I'll add ya on steam now if that's okay.
So Viper and I decided to cause some disorder on the streets of San Paro last night :v: [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/396674935300195123/E730C301BA0AA5617CB1AC743BB4C64A06BB9FDC/[/t]
oh man I haven't played this in so long not much incentive to go back since I've maxed my enforcer, tho

I stopped playing when my partner in crime and punishment stopped being able to run the game smoothly. And that's after they upgraded their computer. Gives you an idea of how far the performance has fallen, when their old computer could run it fine when it came out.
I strangely never had any performance problems tied to updates
I've only had issues with poor optimization and I don't think that's tied to a specific update...
So they finally released some more info on the long-awaited engine update, or well, pictures at least. But hey! A picture can say more than a thousand words.
And here I am, still waiting for a proper console version.
You know what kinda bothers me? APB has an extensive lore, many different characters, intrigues going all the way to the top, connections between characters, everything being nicely described etcetera etcetera... all done in ingame e-mails absolutely no one pays attention to. I'm kinda compelled to make a lore writedown similar to what I did with Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. But when I look at just how much of this stuff exists (APBDB's contact pages also have their e-mails listed)... yeah, let's just say this is too much. It's a shame, really. They did pay attention to the story beyond the gameplay - it's just skipped by, like, 90% of the playerbase.
It doesn't help that the lore emails vanish after like five days.
Now I got a new PC I've started playing this again. Anyone else still playing?
On and off, if you're on Citadel I'd be up for a match or two.
I mostly play with a Polish clan nowadays. It's surprising how much better this game plays when you have a competent team and VoIP (TeamSpeak or anything similar). Playing APB is a love-hate relationship. :v:
On and off, if you're on Citadel I'd be up for a match or two.
Yeah Im on citadel, I warn you though: I'm 100% bad at the game.
I haven't played in a loooooooooooong while
