There's pretty much nothing going on in this thread anymore I wonder if it's going to get locked any time soon
No
We have a catch 22 problem, no one want to play unless there are others playing. Maybe we should organize regular events?
I wonder if it's going to get locked any time soon
... I have yet to see one game thread being locked because nobody posts alot in it
I stopped playing because the performance was unplayable, the game was fine in when they released it, but their continuous meddling has completetly destroyed performance. There was a time when it ran great, then it ran okay, and now it runs very poorly, even though nothing on my end has changed. It's a real shame, my friends refuse to play at all because their performace is even worse than mine despite comparable specifications.
To be honest, I play on the absolute minimal settings (except for Bloom [on] so I can play with 2.75 brightness :v: ) and it's bearable. My shitty PC from 2008 can reach over 30 FPS, sometimes 60 if I'm at the border of a district, which is relatively easy in Waterfront.

First I was able to play it on a shitty dual core laptop w/ 4 gigs of ram around 40-50fps back in G1 CBT (it ran at solid 60 on RTW) and then the OBT came when I built a desktop, which ran on solid 60fps on medium settings and then I started to get around 30 fps which led me to build a new pc, I managed to reach 60fps on high settings at first but a year later I was playing on low settings again in sake of reaching stable 60fps. And now I've recently upgraded to i5-6600 and it still runs like ass.
tried playing this a few months back and there was still 5 second input lag on vehicle control so i dropped it right away. dont know how people can play under those conditions.

[t]http://puu.sh/qtPqC/7bc972235a.png[/t] The match mostly consisted of "hey, we're at 119 and they only just grabbed the briefcase for the first time, let's farm arrests on them!". The R255 dude (OldJackDaniels) was also gold prior to the mission - we literally arrested him so hard that he lost his threat level :v:
That match was so much fun.
I'd reroll on Obeya as an Enf just to play every now and then if there are some FP'er still active ocassionally.
I'd reroll on Obeya as an Enf just to play every now and then if there are some FP'er still active ocassionally.
there's just a couple of us, but we can fill one or two groups pretty easily
is nobody crim? :C
is nobody crim? :C
We played a bunch, but then you disappeared :o
I already have a decent crim on the EU server. I may just roll an enf though.
I've been trying to give this game a fair chance, but the grind is putting me off a lot Any advice to make the grind less painfull? At least i got to fix my face up [t]http://i.imgur.com/dNWq0Zg.jpg[/t] Right is the old, left is the new

This is a bit of a bump but I just made an account on the russian APB and played it for a bit, it's actually kind of a lot better than normal APB. New players get a bunch of cool shit (ATAC rifle, Colby 45, that Ophelia whatever car) for 6 days and I'm somehow finding it a whole lot fun. I don't know if it's that the players there are overall worse at the game or what but I think I'm gonna keep playing more than I would regular APB. And also their Armas prices are like a fraction of the regular ones, for 10 euros worth of rubles you could get 30 days of premium, a clothing pack and a gun for 7 days and still have some to spare. [editline]9th December 2016[/editline] And their joker boxes are like 30 cents at most, some are even as low as 10 cents per box.
Oh hey, it's this thread again! While you guys were gone, I've decided to become a sellout. [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/197427429791880267/D8600D27AA48320387275410A151C4E286541671/[/t][t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/197427429791880727/4563CC8E03E5C798C1EDAF3000E50EE85D635651/[/t] I even got myself a nice "Complete Sellout" clan tag title while my Premium lasts until the end of the year! (Halfway through the job I ran out of space and gaming related brands/logos to use. The fun part is that I don't even own products/use any of the brands on my clothes except for Discord :v: )
It's a nice shirt, too bad APB butchers textures. Imagine APB customization in UE4...
Oh man, the russian APB store even has a mystery box that is made up entirely of OCA Nanos with them varying from 1 day ones to 90 day ones and it costs 9 rubles which is about 13 euro cents.
considering you NEED store bought weapons to be competitive on Innova I'm not surprised at all
considering you NEED store bought weapons to be competitive on Innova I'm not surprised at all
Why? All the weapons are the same as they are in regular APB.
Why? All the weapons are the same as they are in regular APB.
wrong Innova is flat out P2W Compared to live, the HVR Scout does a lot more damage, the ATAC takes one less shot to kill, the STAR LCR is a 4shot, the CSG is still the 800 hard/soft damage powerhouse it was back in 2012, the OCA-Nano is most likely pre-nerf
Then I guess the players there are really that much worse because I've been doing much better and having way more fun there even when using stock weapons.
I miss this game, or rather, I miss what it was. Even then it wasn't amazing, but something just kept me coming back every day for years.
The server merge was the finally nail in the coffin for me. I log in now and don't recognize a single soul, which completely ruined the social aspect of the game imo.
I miss this game, or rather, I miss what it was. Even then it wasn't amazing, but something just kept me coming back every day for years.
It doesn't even feel like APB anymore tbh.
The server merge was the finally nail in the coffin for me. I log in now and don't recognize a single soul, which completely ruined the social aspect of the game imo.
The problem is most of the old players left. It's mostly filled with semi-new people now-a-days.
