All Points Bulletin: Reloaded V8 - when are they gonna nerf stun guns?

Like severely changing the meta to curb the learning curve and make it more appealing to people that like 'hit it and quit it' sort of games that can be picked up and stopped at any time. I had tried to recruit friends to play with me a very long time ago, but the initial starting difficulty turned them away. Mind you most of said friends favor Battlefield, Counter Strike, Planetside 2 and the like, so they prefer the fast TTK and smooth weapon handling.
Also I wish (since they're working on cosmetic appearance right now) they would just release the old RTW HD textures as an optional download so everything looked nice again.

Pretty sure the textures are still the same, but they look like ass because of the compression they applied some time ago
which can be disabled with a little config magics, mind you
There was a patch today and it appears to have messed a few things up. My personal experience is all cars handling, "floaty" for lack of a better term. I impounded a Vegas, which I normally have a rough time driving. Then I impound a Armored Truck and for some reason it handles like the Vegas. I've driven many an armored truck on my Criminal, so I know how they should handle. Even the dinky hatchback that I upgraded from the starter car handles unusually. Other people are reporting extreme frame loss and lag to boot.
Extreme frame loss has happened since the previous patch for me. Scaleform menu ran at 9fps, and the game at 17. Shit is ridiculous.
Blackhawk said cars were floaty but I didn't notice anything myself. I did get a couple studders though.
Cars have always been floaty for me. Piece of shit car handling that feels like it rotates on a central axis.
I had some freezes while playing before the last update but now it seems their frequency has increased. Hope it'll be fixed.
Anyway, the new menu is awesome.

That's because it used to rotate on the central axis in RTW beta. Was one of the few things we complained about that they took to heart but they half-assed the handling the second time around.
My new pikachu car. Ignore my bad lighting + odd gfx, been experimenting with advanced apb launcher and it gave odd results.

So I have a proper working GPU now. Think it's about time I got back into this V:v:V

Everything's way darker, I've noticed that as well
Also, I'm not sure which settings affect this but it's really hard to tell when you get damaged because the black and white overlay just doesn't show up

Try to turn up your graphical quality to Medium. That should make it work as you want it to
There is a variable in some .ini file but I have no clue where it is, at the moment
And just in case, listen for the sound clues. Muffled sound equals bad
what do you guys think of the seyio citadel 4? i thought of buying one but im not really sure if its worth it, i currently only have a charge cisco with no mods
Best thing is to buy vehicles with complete different advantages like a fast sports car, a four-seat and a resistant one.
I'd rather get a packer ceresco and mod it myself than a citadel personaly.
the citadel is better tbh, around same speed but more agile
however the ceresco is also not real money
I'm trying to get back into this game, but it runs like shit. What do.
And is the Facepunch Enforcers dead on Obeya or do I just come on at bad times?

It's in APBCompat.ini and it's called something with qualityhealthhud

generally you shouldn't expect to see people online just when you log on, we mostly get together when one of us starts the game up and the others see that on steam, but I guess we've exhausted our capabilities of being online 8 hours a day and most members haven't even played for almost a year, but the few who do still log back on every once in a while for a few matches
also there's a possibility you're still part of the old, abandoned clan, Facepunch Enforcers Obeya though you're probably not
We'll be releasing an update to APB Reloaded tomorrow at 10 AM BST/2AM PST. This update will address several issues with elective spawning as well as adding content for the 4th of July event that will be detailed in an upcoming APB Reloaded blogpost (http://apbreloaded.gamersfirst.com/)
Downtime is expected to be between two and three hours.
Details:
Gameplay
ELECTIVE SPAWNING: We now ensure that spawn waves are not used if we are not using elective spawning. Also, we check to ensure that no elective spawning timer is being set to zero (which cancels the timer).
ELECTIVE SPAWNING: Total Spawn time is now 18 seconds (up from 15). Spawn selection still shows 7 seconds after death, meaning players get 3 seconds more to choose a location.
ELECTIVE SPAWNING: Spawns within 50m of an Objective are no longer valid spawn locations.
ELECTIVE SPAWNING: Objectives outwith 250m of Player Death no longer impact spawn point selection.
ELECTIVE SPAWNING: Fixed a rare case where players were unable to spawn due to overcrowding in a spawn location.
WEAPONS: DMR-SD and DMR-AV ammo increased from 6/24 to 7/35.
WEAPONS: Fixed an issue where the Flare Gun didn't show enemies in world space for the person firing it.
WEAPONS: Temporary Fix to Grenade trails. We really like the idea of the Concussion Grenades having a different trail though to distinguish them, so they now have a light blue tint to them.
MISSIONS: Fixed an issue where Scavenger mission items couldn't be picked up once they'd been dropped off.
Front End
SCALEFORM (LOGIN): Moved the location of the caps lock warning text.
SCALEFORM (OPTIONS): Fixed an issue that caused the Max Anisotropy setting to be blank.
SCALEFORM (MESSAGES): Changed the text of the buttons that appear if you decline the EULA.
FRONT END (SCENES): Added 500% more America.
Art
ENVIRONMENTS (PROPS): Updated Billboards to reflect an upcoming event. Keep an eye on the APB Blog ( http://apbreloaded.gamersfirst.com/ ) for more details.
CLOTHING (GAS MASK): Fixed clipping issues between hats (Deputy Badge hat, Baseball Cap & Military Cap) and Gas Masks.
CLOTHING (SKATEBOARD BACKPACK): Fixed an issue that caused the Skateboard to intersect with the backpack when firing a weapon or walking with a rocket launcher.
CLOTHING (SCHOOLGIRL SKIRT): Fixed various clipping issues between the Schoolgirl skirt and the legs.
CLOTHING (DESERT SCARF MASK - MALE): Fixed an issue that caused certain beards to clip through the Desert Scarf Mask.
CLOTHING (CHEST CONFIG - MALE): Fixed an issue where the Chest Config would float in front of the Tactical Harness.
CLOTHING (DESERT SCARF/ MASK - FEMALE): Fixed a clipping issue with the Jacket's and Blouse, when they are worn with the Desert Scarves.
CLOTHING (ENF PALADIN THIGH PADS - MALE): Fixed an intersection issue on large characters, between the Enforcer Paladin Thigh Pads and the Handgun Config.
CLOTHING (CROWN - FEMALE): Fixed an issue that caused the Crown to create a black line down the inside of a female characters right arm.
CLOTHING (LEG WARMERS - FEMALE): Improved the slight model distortion of the ankles that occurs when the high heels and the leg warmers are worn together.
Misc.
STABILITY: Fixed a number of possible server crashes.
CLOTHING: Added a Richard Nixon mask to the Joker Store. This item costs 1000JT and 3500 APB$ to unlock. This item will be available on the Joker Store and on Armas Marketplace until 11th of July.
oh boy
Why Richard Nixon? :v:
Oh they actually buffed the DMR, that's always welcome
nothing about fixing the rampant fps issues for a lot of people
stay classy rp
