So, whats the secret to killing people? I've been playing fight club a lot as of late, and it seems like no matter what I do. I get killed. I'll sit in a corner, hidden. And someone instantly pops around the corner and guns me down. I'll sit at the end of a hallway, and I'll put an entire mag into someone, and they'll mow me down with an SMG. I'll hit someone directly, twice, with grenades. And they'll live and still kill me. Or I'll spawn in and get instantly killed by some one hit sniper rifle. I primarily play Assault Rifle or an SMG, and neither seem to work really well. I've had it a lot of times where I'll dump an entire mag into them at point blank, and they'll still kill me.

Learn to switch camera view all the time and you will get used to looking around corners

They only do 400 damage each and players have 1000 health. And there is no sniper that can one-shot you, but the heavy HVR comes close without around 850 damage. Personally I like to use shotguns/SMGs and run right up to my enemies, moving as much as possible. Always tap V when going around corners to switch shoulders and peak around corners.

I've had it a lot of times where I'll dump an entire mag into them at point blank, and they'll still kill me.[/QUOTE] well the trick is to always be moving around like a fucking idiot since then you are effectively invulnerable marksmanship mode in close ranges is utterly pointless (though I'm guessing that by "assault rifle" you mean NTEC to which i can only say that it's your problem) - if you're outclassed by a close range gun, attempt to get in extremely close (like, "less than 3 meters" close) and move around loads while spraying bullets everywhere, your wider spread compared to the tighter one they have will allow you to maintain more mobility, and your large magazine will allow you to outlast SMGs (not shotguns though, but those are going to have loads of trouble hitting you at that range), and add in a quick crouch to tighten your spread and dodge a few shots, and you might just end up killing the dude (or survive until someone else shoots you in the back) [QUOTE=RichyZ;41353822]tap to shoot, don't hold down [/QUOTE] this is worthless advice since it is A) extremely obvious B) fucking worthless at close range i.e. where you'll be spending most of your time since the game and the players are nice like that [QUOTE=RichyZ;41353822] don't jump around when being shot at[/QUOTE] this is almost beneficial advice since you can't change directions or shoot effectively while mid air, as shooting and changing directions are the two things that allow you to survive round here [QUOTE=RichyZ;41353822]spam c/ctrl/whatever your change stance key is while shooting to confuse the enemy and make your hitbox go crazy[/QUOTE] this only works against new players as they still haven't gotten used to aiming for the center of mass, and it really doesn't do that much to your hitbox it also is incredibly nauseating (for both sides) and fucking stupid as shit you also can't be moving and changing directions when doing this (you are effectively immobile) which more often than not means instant death in a close range scenario don't get me wrong, crouching can be a powerful tool, but only when used every now and then when the enemy isn't expecting it - especially efficient when facing shotguns since you become a smaller target, and you also leave crosshair and they have to readjust, during this you can use the crouch stance accuracy bonus if you're using assault rifles to lay down a world of hurt on your enemy, but don't overstay your welcome and get back to sprinting as soon as they've realigned their aim on you tl;dr be a massive bitch all of the time crouch is only good when used intelligently always be sprinting, behind cover, or shooting
