Lottery or not, that promotion reeks of just being something to entice Golds to play against other Golds rather than de-threating. Otherwise, why couldn't they have done it when golds could play lower threat districts?

The silenced PMG is fun to fuck around with but with the Silencer doesnt that eliminate the Improved Rifling mod? Because a PMG without IR kinda sucks.

Not just with regards to lag, but has the game been running sluggish and choppy for anyone else the last couple of days? Currently defragmenting the game to see if that will make a difference. I know I've mentioned that my setup isn't the best for this, but the problem is even worse than when it turned out the insides were dust caked. EDIT: Solution or not, my APB Folder in general was significantly fragmented.

So I was gone for a week, and didnt play for another two. I logged in, lost a match and went down to silver. Game is now enjoyable.

I have maybe 15 or 16 matches under my belt towards the event. On Joker East at least, game is running like crap and there is somewhat a resentment against non golds on gold districts. Yes, I did complain at first when I'd keep getting Golds as opponents, but seriously, that was only when against nothing but golds on the bronze or silver districts. On the bright side, I tend to end up in a team with either fellow Silvers or someone who gets that low threats are playing on Gold for the event. Only got kicked twice today, both in the last seconds of the match, one of which was kind of justified as it added me with 1 minute in the match and no way I was getting to the objective in time. Also funny how the only people Witnessing on Gold districts are Silver or lower. I did have the idea of playing my Enforcer and Witnessing as that counts if you witness a Gold, but no golds are doing anything witnessable.

I am absolutely jealous of you people getting dethreated for no reason. by the way fuck this game I quit being gold sucks

I'm at 60 missions and I already want to give up :suicide: I was aiming for 200 but I think I'll just settle for 100, I don't have it in me to play that many missions over such a short time.

Our goal was only 100 too. Normal play time this would be cake, but these events bring the worst of the worst out of the woodwork and it's just so rrrrrrrrrgh.

I guess I have really lousy luck. I had a few good winning matches, but a single, legitimately accidental Team Kill puts me right back to Bronze. As a Crim on Joker East, the wait to get into a mission was longer than usual and 6 times out of 8 opposition never came. Again, gotta love how apparently its a crime against humanity that non Gold can play on Gold Districts, yet apparently all was well when you are Bronze on a Bronze District and get put against 6 Golds. That "get rid of threat altogether" thing is sounding pretty good now for some reason.
