I should probably give it another go just to see.
You probably should.
I played this a lot before but I stopped for the amount of ridiculously overpowered Premiums. Should I give it another go?
premium doesn't make players more powerful.
don't see the point in playing if the whole game is basically hackers, and people accusing you of hacking.
don't see the point in playing if the whole game is basically hackers, and people accusing you of hacking.
Hackers aren't as much of a problem as other things Such as shallow weapon balance and the otpimization issues (which should be fixed soon enough) For those of you interested, the Reloaded Production team might host a Q&A session this Friday!
don't see the point in playing if the whole game is basically hackers, and people accusing you of hacking.
I continue playing because of the customization and the small good bit of the community that are actually friendly and won't kick me for being turbobad as a gold.

jesus fuck why are enforcers better than criminals
Help me get good at this game.
Help me get good at this game.
Colby CSG PR1 or JG840 Find a tweak to always enable sprint, shader dot, you're set.
That's it?
That's it?
It was more of a joke post Learn the map inside-out, how to reach every spot, what shortcut could you take, etc. The map isn't that complex either so it won't be a huge effort. Learn how to handle cars. Finding a Moirai on the street isn't that good if you're going to spin out the next turn Beware of every single hint you come across. Usually the way doors were kicked open and parked player cars (which you should neutralize) are a dead giveaway of something bad ready to happen. Watch your radar, learn how to read it, and memorize the circumstances in which you become visible on the enemy's radar. When the green bleep (representing you) becomes bigger, it means that you appear as a red triangle on enemies' radars Avoid hallways, there's always going to be someone camping the corner. You can't see them, but they can indeed see you Don't bother with ram raid, as a criminal Listen. If some scrub knocks down a trash can, you know where they have been. Even better when they climb ladders Keep a nice collection of weapons in your locker. At least one weapon for every range (do not bother with the DMR-SD, go for the HVR-762) Keep your weapon spread under control. For example, the N-TEC is deadly accurate when tap fire, as it is fast enough to return to base accuracy Learn your stats. www.apbdb.com KEEP IN MIND DROP-OFF RANGES. Can't stress this enough, especially after 1.10 you are going to be screwed over if you start fighting outside a weapon's optimal range Get friends with voice comm, possibly Try to always have a backup plan. And get a few friends

[editline]5th September 2013[/editline] The only real bad thing I realized is the matchmaking. It's really unfair sometimes.

[editline]5th September 2013[/editline] The only real bad thing I realized is the matchmaking. It's really unfair sometimes.
Literally the only thing they can do about matchmaking is bigger servers, which, thanks to Unreal, is basically not possible. The problem is inherent in the fact that the pool of players is 45 enemies and 44 teammates and that's assuming the server is completely full, and that's also not accounting for the effect that groups of players have either. And one bit of advice, never ever forget that APB is 1 part race 2 parts shooting, it's almost equally as important to get there first as it is to be better at the shooting part of the game. As soon as the objective is done, you should be on your way to the next one, never kill someone after the objective is completed, because they'll spawn closer to it than you are, just instantly leave the area and haul ass to the next point, if you get there first, your advantage will be massive.
Learn the map inside-out, how to reach every spot
Including the spots that aren't obvious. There's a bunch.

Or headphones? A: Okay. So if there's a high enough demand we'll consider this. We're seeing a lot of people asking for it so we need to work out who much time it would take to do it, how many people want it and so on - it wouldn't look the same as when there was intersection between the hoodie and the ears because we'd want to polish it up a bit and make it shine but it's gone from being a 'no' to a 'give me numbers and we'll see, Jotun.' So... :V
:suicide:
God damn the Q and A thread is fucking sad. They're dancing around every question and literally giving us no new info. They're avoiding almost every question that is important - content, anti-cheat/banning.
God damn the Q and A thread is fucking sad. They're dancing around every question and literally giving us new info. They're avoiding almost every question that is important - content, anti-cheat/banning.
What did you expect, honestly
Q: Can we get hoodie variants with cat ears? Or headphones?
I can already see all those "kawaii neko" mangafucks* before my eyes. Beware the Cat Hoodie Army, people! And seriously, if it goes through, this will be both funny and pathetic at the same time. Answering every question but those that touch the topic of cheaters, bans, game performance and optimalization. Stay classy, G1. [sp]*A friend of mine uses "mangafucks" instead of "weeaboos", and by now it kinda stuck to me too.[/sp]
*A friend of mine uses "mangafucks" instead of "weeaboos", and by now it kinda stuck to me too.
i like it
also what the hell kind of answers do you expect "what are you gonna do about lag, cheaters and optimization" fuck i dunno they've been doing the maximum possible amount of shit (which is, sadly, quite small) about cheaters and it's worked somewhat the game's also not gonna magically forget the fact that it needs obscene amounts of memory to handle the hundreds of people carrying dozens of megabytes of data each and all the pedestrians and the need to complete hundreds of thousands of complex physics, movement and combat calculations (MMOs are more or less turn based to make the server strain manageable, APB fucks that in the face and makes the already a lot more complex turns update every 1/25th of a second) and you want them to say "yeah well okay we will now make all useless dumb things you asked for AND solve problems that have been there since before the game ever released and are kind of just the inevitable side effect of the game's scale and speed and thus unfixable without taking massive gameplay quality shortcuts"
I've been playing this game again over a long time, how would I be able to enable auto run? is it in the options?
I've been playing this game again over a long time, how would I be able to enable auto run? is it in the options?
It's somewhere in the .ini files if I'm right.
I've been playing this game again over a long time, how would I be able to enable auto run? is it in the options?
Search for Sprinting in APBInput.ini file you can find in APBGame/Config. Replace the line with this: Bindings=(Name="Sprint",Command="InputstopSprintin g | OnRelease InputSprinting")

I assume you all saw it in chat for those who dont there are codes that can be redeemed granting you a headphone, a skin and a single day of prem. The codes are as following. Headphone - PH4TB3ATZ Hazardous skin - HAZARDOUS 1 Day Prem - FUN4ADAY A taunt - UWOTM8 those are redeemed within the ingame armas shop.
