So, since the Wiki is kind of spotty. I'm assuming I can build a stable and buy a horse like in Harvest Moon and use it to go fast? Because I'm getting tired of walking everywhere.
Also thank god they let you walk through the crops. That's something that Harvest Moon stubbornly never wanted to fix in the earlier games.

I don't own the game(yet, probably), but I think I heard someone talk about saves being really easy to edit. Maybe you can change your pet choice there?

I used my hoe on the front and back yard area of Robin's house. I usually get 10 snow yams and 10 winter roots. They make a decent profit but don't expect too much

Try and plant "grows continuously crops" at the very start of the season so you get the most out of them. There are "quests" at the community center that require ou to bring things, try and be mindful of the seasonally based items, that way everything gets done sooner, otherwise you might have to wait a year to get a chance at something again. Give loved gifts on birthdays, I did it with my romantic interest and it jumped me 3 hearts.

Farm a shit ton. It might hurt you at first (You'll always be dirt poor), but the investment will make you rich fast.
Don't be afraid to make some mistakes.
Look into mods if some features you find iffy, there's a lot of good ones out there.
Also Corn lasts through fall from summer, so plant it asap, and a lot of it.
Did anything else ever get discovered with the weird statues for putting stuff in crates? Last I checked there were three you could unlock.
Is there a mod or anything can edit to keep fences from decaying like they do? I love the way wooden fences look but they literally disintegrate within days and I spend hours repairing them every morning. It's bullshit.

There are mods on the Stardew forums which implement long lasting fences.
Bit of a spoiler in this question, but [sp]Is the calico desert casino basically rigged? Or is my luck just really shitty? Any time I play the blackjack game I usually either go over 21 in one or two hits, or if I get close with a 19 or a 20, the dealer will invariably get exactly 21. And this is on a day where the fortune teller said I'd have great luck, if that has any influence.
Also the slot machines are pretty infuriating; 2000 coins in and I've maybe gotten the x5 as my biggest payout. It's just like real gambling I suppose.[/sp]

So here is another question. I have a silo now. So I can buy grass seed for $100 a piece and than plant them but if I cut them down I get hay, which is what I want which I can buy for $20 a piece from Marnie.
So what is the point of planting grass? Will it expand outward or?

Yeah grass grows, and your barn animals will eat it before eating hay, so you can plant it in your barn fields.

This is from a 101 floor run of [sp]skull cavern[/sp]. I think the balance of ore nodes needs to be tweaked a little bit. Kinda weird that iron is somehow rarer than gold which is nearly as common as copper too.

How do you get so many floors done so fast? I only get around 10-20 before running out of time in the day.
