Good news guys, about 40 days in and around 8 hours put into the game, I wake up from sleep and my watering can is missing! Not in my chest, not with blacksmith, checked with other tools, you cant drop tools into the selling thing or drop them on the floor (except for scythe), and I haven't left my farm area in 12 days.
I literally just lost 8 hours of my life. Emailed the developer, please god no.
How does selling work in this game? I can't figure out the price difference between selling at my storage bin and selling at the store. I think the storage bin gives you more money?
Has anyone figured out the price of seed vs profit of crop?

You might be able to edit the can back in. I poked around and the inventory is just an XML file.
Well gog doesn't push updates on the weekend, so I can't get the fix for my bug until monday, guess I'm out for a while.
Ughh I can't ever seem to get any of the timed delivery missions done in time.
Not to mention I keep finding myself trying to do everything in a day and end up accomplishing nothing.

Fuck the delivery quests, they're stupid and usually only pay marginally more than you'd get if you just stuck the item in your bin (usually, not always, had a guy pay 300g for a fish that normally goes for 80g). I had an ore mission and I took it on cause I needed 15 and I've got 23. Turns out it doesn't work, I need to [I]collect[/I] the ore fresh to let the guy inspect it. Stupid.
What's the point in donating? I'd rather just sell the stuff I find for money. I'll probably donate when I'm rich.
A lot of the mechanics certainly test the patience, because it's supposed to be a long term game... But holy shit I really really wish there was a timescale slider. I just cannot get anything done.
Can you ever build a sprinkler or something so you don't have to manually water?

For money, just don't be scared in investing in crops - even if it makes you piss poor at the start, when they're done you'll have a really good marge of profit.
Also, if you want the exact price of the base crops, in the collections menu, you can find the price of all grown crops and make your own calculation based on Seed/Product price.
Fishing, you have to get used to it. It seems really hard at first, but when you get the hang of it, it's really not that painful. That and leveling up fishing makes it easier to begin with. What I do is once I'm hooked to the fish, I lightly hold the mouse button when it goes up, and click a bit slowly when it goes down. Of course, if the fish does radical drops or rise, that becomes a massive pain, but otherwise, it's manageable.
Mines, don't bother breaking all the rocks. If you want coal, follow the tracks to minecarts and right click on them to get around 5 per railcart. Always prospect an entire level first for obvious ores (Coppers, quarts, etc), then go down. Combat is really easy, just jam things into a wall and shiv that fucker dead.
For requests/Jobs, really only bother taking the ones that you can easily achieve without luck factor. Things like "Bring me this x Fish X number of times" is nearly impossible if you don't have a good backlog. Also, always check the reward versus the price of the item. It can save you a lot of time if you see you aren't making that much profit.
Also, don't be afraid of running around the map foraging. Things like wild crops and berries are basically free money that doesn't cost you any stamina.
If you find a patch of wiggling worms on the ground, use your hoe to reveal secrets and items.
I recommend always donating to the museum. Some items appear out of sheer luck, and if you find the item only once, and can't find it for hours on end after, you're going to be really upset you didn't donate it in the first place. That and the museum will give you rare stuff if you donate enough shit to it. That and it might be tied to the sewer key at some point.
I basically fell into that, since I ate a horseradish once (Which is required for the community center) and now I can't find any. There's only 10 days left in spring and there hasn't been any leeks around either, so I'm fairly annoyed.
