so your into trailer trash?
At least it's trash in their natural habitat, rather than your other waifus :v:
How can u honestly not like Penny. She goes out of her way to be the polar opposite of her mom by being community active, giving kids an education when there's no school in the village, helping the elderly, cleaning up her mom's trailer and then getting scolded for it. She is a god damn angel
If Abby didn't exist I would've married her if not for loving her then just to give her a nice house to live in. She deserves it
Why don't you try drawing a different girl.
Like, Penny. Or Penny. Penny would be fine too, I guess.
or maybeeeeeeeee...
Linus fanart when? :)
(:
I stink at drawing dudes. Especially adults. I can try though
Recently bought the game and been lurking in this thread for a solid 2 weeks. I don't think I've seen any content outside of relationships, is it a particularly big thing? If so I'm in year 2 with a single heart to a dude, and I'm a dude. I think I'm doing it wrong.
This Abby abuse confuses and infuriates me
Abuse? Have you seen the animation I'm referring to, that aint no abuse.
Why can't you date Rasmodius or at least agree to become his apprentice or something

Could we talk about the farming for a while instead of this "ironic" "joking" "waifu" stuff?
I mean I'm not forcing you but I wanna let you know that it makes me feel very uncomfortable and it adds nothing but weirdness to the thread.

I'd talk about designing farms but i'm shit at that.
Just like I was at building bases in Terraria.
I don't even plan stuff but I'm also using maybe 1/3 of the area anyway and still feel like the days aren't long enough.
Changelog
Gameplay:

Fruit tree harvesting now involves shaking the tree to drop the fruit
Lightning strikes now have a unique effect on fruit trees
Lightning is more likely to strike trees and crops, but lightning rods now have a very good chance of intercepting lightning strikes (if they aren't already processing a lightning bolt)
Charcoal Kiln now requires 10 wood to produce 1 coal, down from 20
Maxed-out friendship levels will no longer decay

Fixed sunflower seed price at JojaMart
Chests should no longer appear on top of you in bed after upgrading your house.
Item placement with the gamepad improved, and there is now an option to show an item placement indicator

Farm animals should no longer get stuck on fences placed directly to the right of the barn door.
Various minor bug fixes.
Minor changes/fixes to dialogue

Nice, more dialogue when you're married. I was kinda weirded out by the fact none of the villagers reacted to my marriage in any way, especially the parents. It's a big part of the game thats still lacking some features. Also willy not liking fish dishes didn't make any sense
[editline]5th April 2016[/editline]
I wouldn't mind if farm animals got their collider boxes removed completely, chickens and cows keep getting in the way and the detection for free movement through them doesn't work most of the time, making having a TON of chickens annoying.

That's what the OP is for so yea

I understand if it goes on for multiple pages but it is a feature in the game. Normal waifu talk will happen from time to time.
We NEED the ability to employ Linus. I used to think he was an asshole at first but then I realized "holy fuck, he's homeless" and every single cutscene with him makes me love that old man even more
"penny is trailer trash" fuck off, penny is god's gift to stardew valley
Farm hands would be a cool feature. Pay some money every day to have a villager swing by and feed your animals for you, water plants or harvest.
Penny is a goddess in a bad situation, how can you not want to save her?
Because Leah exists.
Because Leah exists.
My Leah don't need nobody else loving her! Stay away!
We're all in alternate realities anyway, it's not like she'd be cheating on you.

I always just pretended that Pierre and Caroline were actively in denial that the dirty farm hobo was fuckin' their daughter after being in town less than a year :v:
That or Pierre was too afraid of losing my business to say anything about it. Hard to be mad when someone is dogging your daughter when he's dropping tens of thousands of dollars in your store a few times a month.
I've been progressing my heart meter with penny. there's 3 hearts left, one is a normal outline and the last two are gray. The last two are gray for all other bachelors and bachelorettes. Did I mess something up? Someone explain please I can't find anything on google ;(

You have to give them a bouquet now.

Recent update, the last two are greyed out until you give the bouquet.
does the bouquet cement your loving relationship with them, or is it just a thing saying "Im interested"?
does the bouquet cement your loving relationship with them, or is it just a thing saying "Im interested"?
I think it's just an "I'm interested", but I would have love to actually take Penny on dates. have a nice picnic on the beach, or go for a walk in the forest, or just hang out in the library. <3
Things I'd like to do with a real woman like Penny.
my sister challenged me to hook up with Elliott because we were both wondering what sort of guy he was. I thought with his not wanting you to go in his shed he was a serial killer.
Dates would be a really cool feature, even when you're married.
Edit: Also it's really disappointing how Abigail doesn't acknowledge if you have a cat. She specifically says in one of her random dialogues, "I wish I had a cat. But dad's allergic to pretty much everything." I specifically chose a cat when I had to restart my save for that. :v:
Dates would be a really cool feature, even when you're married.
I'm thinking of it as a free heart you can do once every two weeks/twice a season. You could generalize it to "hang out" so you can use it for non marriage candidates as well. Pelican Town is kinda small for doing things though. It could also add another character element, some people like doing certain things and dislike doing other things. Willy might like going fishing, Penny wouldn't like going to the Saloon... you get the idea.
