I know I'm kind of late, but on my way back from low level fishing I got a scene where[sp]Linus was rummaging through trashcans for food and nearly gets caught. Sometimes what the land provides isn't enough and "well off" people do tend to waste perfectly good food, so I take his side. The fact that the bar owner has sympathy for him made me feel nice, then I seriously wanted zucchini fritters[/sp]

The anime portrait pack is also quite loyal to the original designs so.. At least I'm not using the Diversity pack or one where they replace Abigail with a literal copyrighted anime character (see: the Steam artwork hub)

I love how sympathetic the characters are toward each other, even slightly douchey characters like Shane or George have nice sides to them, nobody is purposely an asshole (except Morris but he's part of Joja), it makes the idealistic town seem even better.
Does anything happen if you buy seeds from joja?
I remember buying some during spring of my first year because I harvested on a day Pierre was closed and I've kinda regretted it since

Normal/Soft wood fences are supposed to break after a week or two. Its supposed to be one of the many incentives of leveling your farming skill, as you learn how to make fences out of better materials that last longer as you level farming.

Stone wall's are always so handy because I have so much Stone I haven't used when in the Mine's. I have like 3+ 999 Stones in a chest.

I have to say, characters like Abigail and Haley's portrait progression really shows much unnecessary change their designs went through. Their hair used to be much simpler in detail, but then he went and added all these loose strands and just made it incredibly over detailed and busy. He really was going through a big "fix what isn't broken" phase.
I love how everything in this game sounds absolutely stupid when you back out of it but when you're in to it it's insane.
I'm talking to my girlfriend and I'm like "DUDE I AM UP TO MY ASS IN CLUTCH, THE SUMMER LUAU IS IN 3 DAYS AND I NEED SOMETHING READY FOR THE POTLUCK" and it occurs to me how ridiculous that is
also I have had this game like a few days and I've already put 24 hours in to it :pudge:
