Profit per day is just a break down of how much money a crop sells for divided by how many days it takes to grow it. So hypothetically, if I have a crop that sells for 1000 gold, and it takes 2 days to grow, that's 500 gold 'per day'.
Anyway, yeah, don't worry too much. Some people pitch this as a wiki game but I disagree, it's very fun to figure things out yourself and it's not THAT hard to figure things out.
Wonder if anyone is planning a mod that replaces the worm spot with "Penny Was Here" when said spot turns out to be a [sp]Lost Book[/sp]. Because when it is, that's the first thing that comes to my mind.

If you used energy until you hit exausted sleeping a night will not help you. You either have to take it easy the next day or buy a pricy med from the clinic to remove exaustion before bed.
In the future, don't run yourself so ragged. [Sp] if you look around on the screen south of your farm during spring, you may find some spring onions. They aren't much, but you can snack on them to restore a little stamina. You also learn quite early how to turn acorns, maple seed and pine cones into essentially a granola bar that is good for quick stamina recovery early on. Unlike most recipes you will learn, this one doesn't need a kitchen. [/sp]

Using a save editor you can edit your appearance.
You can change your appearance in-game by [sp]spending 500g at a shrine in the basement of Rasmodius's tower which he lets you use after reaching 4 hearts[/sp]

After playing the game a bit, I am kind of disappointed that Marnie not only lost the "who should be the next marriage candidate - Female" poll, but(while only by 1%) had fewer votes than Pam. Granted, there is the whole thing where [sp]Marnie and Mayor Lewis are an item/seeing each other[/sp], but its the fact that an alcoholic got more votes than an competent farmer.
I can see potential heart events now:
Marnie: Good morning honey! I taught the cows how to beatbox, the chickens how to dance the charleston and the goat how to play a one man band!
Pam: *Crash!* You lose half your health because you got an empty bottle thrown at you.
Marnie: Sweetie, I took the liberty of planting some season appropriate crops this morning.
Pam: I drank all that pale ale you were going to ship. This is for not making more! *cuts you with broken bottle* *lose half your current health and 75% of your stamina*.
Marnie: I was tinkering with the seed machine and somehow managed to quadruple its output.
Pam: Lets take the bus and go somewhere. *hic*! *you died because she drove off a cliff for some reason*
.............I am well aware how it looks. It just ticks me off that again an alcoholic beat a fellow farmer.
I wish I could ask Linus for relationship advice
